Chapter 3- Through the door

Ella’s eyes opened as big as dinner plates as she gazed around she could hear: the banana milk  waterfall rushing down the cliff; the trees blowing in the wind; and the people rushing and huddling together.

She walked down the pebbly path “This place is amazing,” Ella said to herself. The path led to a cottage, but it wasn’t an ordinary cottage. When Ella put her hand through the wall it went straight through and didn’t hurt at all. Then Ella realised the cottage was made from clouds. She opened the door and entered the cosy living room, then she walked through to the kitchen. There was an enormous chocolate cake on the table and cute herself a big slice.

But there didn’t seem to be her wish anywhere. Her wish was that she couldn’t find her dog that she had lost last week. But her dog wasn’t anywhere.

She was just about to turn on the TV when she heard something coming from upstairs. She just ignored it at first, but then she heard it again. Her arms got goosebumps, she stood up without realising and walked up the stairs there was a tapping sound on the wooden floor. Ella opened the door. Nothing moved.

A moment later, she saw something move in the shadows and the cretcher moved into the light. It was the she was it: ruby red eyes glistening in the light; ragged fur, all muddy and full with leafs; a deep growl breaking the silence; and long claws scratching on the floor.

The dog walked towards her, she stumbled down the stairs and ran down the pebbly path, she looked behind her and the dog was running after her. She was trying to find the door but it wasn’t there. The dog started growling and slowly walking towards her.

Chapter 2 – A Warning Disobeyed

“My name is Mr Brown,” he said, smiling at Ella. “You’ve never been into my shop before have you?” Mr Brown asked, “No, I haven’t, but it’s really lovely, and my name is Ella. Nice to meet you,”she replied, shaking Mr Brown’s hand. “Well Ella, this is my Book of Wonders, but don’t even think about touching it. But you’re welcome to have a look around the shop.” “Thank you,” Ella said in delite.

A few seconds later,Mr Brown had disappeared through the ruby red curtain and Ella was left alone. At least that’s what she thought but really the young macaw was sitting on a shelf in the shadows watching her. She was going to start looking around the shop again, but there was a light shining through the ruby red curtain. Ella peeked behind the curtain in wonder. There were at least one hundred or more doors down the corridor. “I wonder where they lead to.” Ella mumbled.

Spinning around, Ella opened the book, every page she saw had amazing drawings of different rooms. The book looked old with dirty brown pages with notes, and drawings about towns, oceans, houses, cottages and more. On each page there were wonders beyond imagination.

Before Ella could think about it, she had a pen in her hand and she was drawing the room of clouds and in this cloud room there was a normal town but the one difference was that everything was made of clouds.

“This way,” the macaw said. Ella jumped in shock and said “You speak,” “Yes of cors I do,” the macaw replied. “But you’re an animal,a bird and animals don’t speak.” Ella said in shock. “Just follow me to the new door.” On the other side of the curtain there was a freshly painted door with a bright green paint. Ella turned the handle, opened the door and stepped in.

Inside the room of clouds there was a cottage, the people, the animals, the plants and the homes everything was made from clouds, everything was fluffy and white.

I would take…

I would take the taste of

Strawberries and whipped cream as fluffy as a cloud,

Margarita pizza bubbling with gooey cheese

And chocolate melting in my mouth.

I would take the smell of

Sausages cooking on the worm barbacus,

Chocolate melting on the stove

And the first few drops of rain falling from the sky.

I would take the sound of

Water rushing down the streams and over the rocks in the rain forest,

Birds singing as the sun rises

And the crackling sound of the fire outside.

I would take the touch of

Smooth runny porridge trickling down my throat,

The soft, smooth hair on the unicorns back

And the heart beating fast on the unicorn’s chest.

I would take the sight of

The sun, a blazing ball in the sky,

The dull grey moon shining its dull grey light

And the stars lightning up the dark night sky.

The doors

Go and open the blue door,

Maybe you’ll see a blue whale splashing in a over sized pool,

A blue-bell nodding  the sun

Or rain falling heavily on the ground.

Go and open the pink door,

Maybe you’ll see a stick of candy floss the colour of the clouds as the sun sets,

A tulip standing in the sun

Or cherry blossom swirling around landing on the ground.

Go and open the yellow door,

Maybe you’ll see the stars shining in the night sky,

Ducklings woddling across the road

Or corn glistening in the sun.

Go and open the white door,

Maybe you’ll hear the drip drip of melting snow,

The paper floating around the room

Or feel the grains of sugar under your feet.

Go and open the brown door,

Maybe you’ll see a mountain of soil,

A pot of chocolate

Or bears running around like crazy.

Go and open the gray door,

Maybe you’ll see concrete arms reaching across the river,

An elephant spraying water from his trunk

Or fire ash flying around like butterflies buzzing around.

Should dragons be allowed in the local area?

We are discussing whether or not we should let the cloud dragon live among us.This is a popular topic at the moment because there are cloud dragons living among us now. People are anxious of what they are going to do next.

The majority of people think that dragons should not live in our local area because their favourite things to eat are sheep, cows, horses and even cats.Additionally, when cloud dragons are angry, frustrated or sad they will produce rain and depending on how mad they are will depend on how heavy the rain is. People are arguing that dragons are cold-hearted and steal valuable things.

Other people suggest that cloud dragons should be given a chance to live in our local area. Also went there are unwanted clouds in the sky the cloud dragon can suck up all the clouds but you may still want some shade so you can tell the cloud dragon when to stop. There fluffy fur is very comfortable for little children to lie in and this dragon will read bedtime stories to children and put them to bed for you.

I have considered all the arguments, and I believe that cloud dragons should live alongside us for a few months so they can protect us from future giant attaches.
