She couldn’t take her eyes off the book. As she stepped closer to the book she heard “Dont touch my book!” a voice said.She turned her head to see an old man.”This is my shop,do you like it?”the man said.She just nodded as she didnt know what else to say.” Let’s make a deal,you don’t touch my book i dont bother you.”he said. “ It’s that simple.” He smiled and walked away. She was so confused, what was so special about this book? This got her thinking. 

A few minutes later, the man had to pop out of the shop for some time. This was her opportunity . She walked over to the book, it read on the front cover ‘Disney wonder’ she opened the front page. The paper was made so thinly she thought she ripped it. She could barely read the writing because of how formerly it was written. It had some instructions. All of a sudden there was a flash!

This old , feather pen appeared right next to her. She was confused. She read the instructions  and they said, ‘ when you pick up the pen it activates, write down your wonder and you’ll see why.’ What did this mean? She decided to pick up the pen and started to write her dream. She felt a bit of shock. “ So now it’s activated?” she said. As the book said she wrote down her wonder on some wobbly lines. It went pitch black. She got scared and crossed it out . The light came back. “ That was scary!” she said. She wrote it down again. ‘ toy box, unicorns and nature.  She heard some tweeting so she put the pen down and followed the sound.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Loud noises came from a room.

She was nervous but was curious about what was going on. She took a big.deep breath, she opened the door. This was the  wonder! The first thing she saw to her right was a toy box, just as she expected. In the toy boxes there were so many toys:  unicorns with the shiniest hair that glistened in the light;  dolls that were life-like and pulled faces at different angles; and soft,fleecy teddies that made you smile even if you felt down. Then she looked up, the best of all “ A real unicorn!” she ran as fast as she could! All of a sudden she heard “ OYYY!!”

My Treasure Chest

If I were summoned 

to create a treasure,

I would take :

the vicious teeth of 

a German shepherd,

the green gremlin thats 

stumbling through the 

grass,

the delicious bite of 

pizza from Italy,and 

a local walk through 

Abbey Gardens,

the vicious strong winds 

from a tornado, the rage 

of a tsunami taking down 

buildings,

the sad death of her 

Majesty the Queen,

the blockbuster bomb

shooting down in wwII,

the power of a shooting

stars flying past the stars,

the ring around Saturn,

the voice of King Bob, 

the warm mug of 

coffee on Christmas 

Day,

The two twin towers 

being re-built.

Go and open the emerald door,

Maybe you’ll find precious

Green gems waiting there for 

Someone greedy to grab them.

Go open the teal door,

Maybe there’s crystal clear

Ocean, an upset, broken 

Hearted person waiting for 

It’s true love.

Go open the scarlet red door,

Maybe you’ll see a red vicious 

Fire burning the world down 

Or a field of poppies.

Go open the lilac door,

Maybe their yellow fluffy

Bees hovering over is 

Lavender collecting its 

Pollion ,fresh juicy grapes

Hanging on vines

Go and open the rose door,

Maybe you’ll find a tiny little

Piglet chasing after its 

Mummy.

Go and open the ginger orange door,

Maybe there’s ripe pumpkins

Stacked up ready to be decorated,

A sunset slowly going down.

Chapter 1 – Leaving the Warren 

Finally, they were ready to leave.

That afternoon, a message had arrived with Flame, a robbin-carrier, to say that the Garg were only a few minutes away from Lavendarhill warren. No one would be safe. The old  warren’s tunnels had been built many a Bramblemas day ago and were too shaky. Its walls were too dusty to withstand an onslaught. Its rooms would never survive an attack from the Garg. 

So it was that the three little rabbits , Romer, Rege and Rammy, left home . The journey to safety would take at least a week but first they would have to pass through the Enchanted Forest of Darkvalley and cross the Fiery Hills until they reached the rock caves of Wood Holm. Even  the Garg could not enter that mighty warren, carved in the mountainside by rabbits so long ago that they had passed into the old stories that only the Crads now knew. When the rabbits found their destination, all of them would be safe. Many of the other rabbits from their warren had decided to go to another destination, so they would be safe. But Rammy’s mother had given them an ancient map that shows old paths . 

Trailing after Romer, Rege and Rammy follow on their big brother.

Chapter 2 – The ancient barn 

****! Romer woke up after a cold night’s sleep. A letter from the robbin-carrier had fallen on his head. He opened it, it said the Garg was only a few feet away and they must get to safety. 

“Rege! Rammy! You need to look at this letter!” said Romer.

They both complained and moaned it was too early in the morning and they wanted to get back to sleep. 

“Just read the letter,” Rommer said as he rolled  his eyes .

There was shock on both of their faces after reading it.  

“We need to start packing” Rege said. 

 “Yes but do we seriously have to walk in the rain?” Rammy complained.

 “Well it’s better to be safe than sorry!” Romer said .  

In the blink of an eye, Rommer started to pack and Rammy collected apples for their breakfast. Rege just watched out for the Garg in case he was coming in their direction. 

“Are we all packed and ready to go!” Rommer said. 

They both nodded and they started to leave. Inside, there was nothing but hay stacked up. Outside, the trees were dancing in the wind and the half dead flowers were swaying side to side in the rain.

Without a second to spare, they were already ten minutes into their journey . Romer took one glance at his map and decided to go to an ancient barn in a goblin place. After one and a half hours , they finally saw Goblin palace in the distance.

 “We are finally here!” exclaimed Rammy.

“Yes we are.” said Romer. The trio dashed over to the ancient barn! 

“It doesn’t look as bad as I thought it was !” said Rege .

Rommer stared out of the barn’s window . “ NO , that can’t be who i think it is !” Shouted Rommer .

“ Who?” said Rammy

“The-the-THE GARG!” Screamed Romer 

“No way , we must hide !” Rege wispeard 

“ Yes we do , it will be about ten minutes until he passes the window.” wispeard  Rege . The three of them Hid under a big haystack fort and had to sit still and silent.                                            To be continued.

LO: I am learning to write an atmospheric setting and introduce suspense.

Chapter 3 – 

As the night came, Rammy started to fall asleep. Romer yawned. 

“Has he come yet?” Rege said. 

“He must have!” whispered Romer. Romer was brave and peered out of the window. “I dont se… oh now I see him!” Romer said.

“Well quick! Get over here.” Said Rege. He walked over while scraping his paws on the floor.

“ He is far in the distance, so if we pack now I reckon we would be able to escape and not let him see us.” Romer said, making his voice louder.

“If we do, we need to wake this little one up!” Rege whispered. Romer and Rege Started to shake Rammy.

“Wake up, wake up!” they both shouted. He finally woke up. The two of them explained why they need to start to pack and leave to go to their safe destination. The three of them started to pack and Rammy looked out of a crack in the wooden wall to see if the Garg was nearby. “ He ain’t too far away but it would be better if we leave now!” Rammy said. The trio left the barn and started to make their way to their new destination. 

After a day or so, the trio finally arrived at their destination. All three of them started to unpack their stuff. Every one of them was tired and all decided to have a quick nap.Romer had the job to make sure they were all safe in this new location. Thud! Thud! Romer and Rege woke up with their hearts racing.” Is that….” Rege wispeared. Thud! Thud! Romer peeked out of the broken roof. “Oh no..” he said. 

“Quick!quick! Get the fire dagger!” said Rege. Rammy started to wake up from the shouting.

Romer whipped out the fire dagger from his pocket that his mum gave him before they came on this long adventure. He started preparing it just in case the Gorm was near or was going to attack them. But something was happening. There was more than 1 person making loud footsteps. It was like at least 5 of them. All three of them were panicking, aspeshaly Romer. 

“Uh oh..”said all of them. All of the were surrounded. 

Abstract Rooms

In the room of nature,

I saw many red apples fall 

Off a brown, dirty trees.

In the room of sadness,

There were many hearts to fix.

In the room of ice cream,

There were many smiley faces to see.

In the room of coffins,

I saw many bodies

That rose up to the heavens

As everyone waved goodbye.

In the room of confusion,

I wondered where i was on 

This dull, rainy day.

In the room of stars,

There was a yellow,

Glistening shooting  star

That flew by.

In the room of fire,

My heart started to 

Sink as i saw the 

Rest of the world burns.
