Blog Challenge

Barry stared at the delicious burger. Outside the shiny, clean window, a calm wind swept across the glamorous village. Cars purred by and on the promenade, major newspapers tumbled along, driven by the warm peaceful wind. The sea rolled up the picturesque, sandy beach crashing against the tall rocks that fringed the dazzling shoreline.

Barry stared at the unappetising burger. Outside the shattered window a powerful, freezing wind swept across the isolated village. Cars purred on the promenade, discarded newspapers tumbled along, driven by the cold wind. The sea rolled up the abandoned lonely beach crashing against the gloomy rocks      that fringed the deserted shoreline.

Blog challenge 20th Febuary

At dawn, the fast car accelerated along the smooth lane, drove round the corner at full speed and came to a halt, skidding into a tree.

On Friday, the dragon landed on a rough playground, crawled towards the school sneakily and paused in front of a child, while blowing out fire.

Last night, the star ship hovered over a desert, aimed its laser beams perfectly and fired them at a camel, making sure no one saw.

As snow fell, Tom patiently waited in his flat. Suddenly, the phone rang. Immediately, he picked it up and listened quickly. As he zoomed through the room, he picked up his heavy suitcase. Tom opened the door and bolted outside in a rush.

 

As there was a bad smell, I bought a gas mask.

Although it was snowing, I wore a shirt.

In case there was a snake, I gave the frog a helping hand.

When it is silent, I play my music loudly.

Since there was no one there, I played my trombone.

As Bob ran down the wet, slippery road, he fell over.

While the thunder roared, the scared hobbits hid.

Bilbo slept in a gloomy cave whilst the cunning goblins attacked.

After the cart came to a wheezing halt, Gandalf strode purposefully into the hobbit hole.

As Jim was interested in the idea, he rang his best friend.

As owls are nocturnal, they have excellent eyesight which makes them active at night.

Dear ma,

It was sad leaving you, my train journey was sad, everyone there was so quiet all I could hear was the train and people saying bye to their mums. It was a long journey,  some people were scared because they were moving to somewhere new they’ve never seen before. I wonder how it will be when we get there hopefully it’s nice I wonder if they’ll be anyone else with me. I just wish you were here ma.

Finally I got there and they was someone waiting for me at the train station, she had two kids one called Lillie and one called Oliver. Lillie was ten and Oliver was eight. When we got to the house it looked big and nice I shared a room with Lillie. I had a chores to do to collect the eggs from the chickens and do my bed. We had a little bit of food each day it was delicious and didn’t taste that bad. The person that took me to her house wanted me to call her Mrs Myla  she is very nice and give me a few books to read.

Today I went  to school and it was fine but it was really squashed in the room  there was about sixty people teacher was called Mr Tyler and we did some maths and English. When I went home I had my dinner which was eggs then got to play a bit. Then after that, I went to bed and I had a very good first day there.

Amazing on sea

You’ve probably heard of amazing-on-sea, it has one of the best beaches in the world. In summer, you have probably made sandcastle you might even have been to the pier to get some donuts . You might have collected sea shells or sat in a nice chair. In the summer it’s nice and sunny. You might never see the wolfmander! On the pier in summer you can get fish and chips, donuts, ice cream and sweets. In summer you can play in the arcades and win prizes!

But in winter, it’s very cold the wolfmander will not come during winter it’ll be in the forest. In winter you have probably not come to the beach because it’s too cold. If you have been on the beach in winter you might has made a snow castle. If you come on winter, you will have to wear hat ,scarf and gloves. In winter on the pier you might get fish and chips, hot drinks and dounuts. In winter the arcade is closed because it’s too cold.

New things

As a result of a husky – the owners where happy.

As a result of white paper – not many trees.

As a result of bright sun – new plants grow.

As a result of a baby – the person was tired.

As a result of Bad cough – train stations close.

As a result of new Adidas shoes – feet blistered.

As a result of surprise bag – kids are happy.

As a result of a balloon – birthday party’s.

As a result of Iphone – call friends and play games.

A simple walk

It doesn’t have to be the crisp packet on the road or the yellow sunflower.

it could be Asda in the distance near the bus stop, or even Moor Park with it’s slides.

it could be a grey Tabby cat on the road, or even a long Dachshund with it’s friend.

it could be a sparrow, or a robin sitting on a branch in the tree.

it could be anything in Preston!
