Chapter 4

Above, something came falling out of the clouds. Below, was Paige, Ava and Captain Hardy looking up in fear. They knew they had to escape the island. They climbed on the ship about to take off. Paige found a secret drawer filled with weapons ready for attack.

Suddenly, the mysterious creature stomped in anger as it felt like an earthquake. They head back to the ship as the stone looking giant threatens them with rude comments but they try to ignore it. Its strapping eyes looking deep in your soul as they all turn around in shock. Its mouth drooling of blood that could possibly eat you like a crumb. Paige and Ava stepped back in fear.

They jumped on the ship and Captain Hardy started to take off. They reached so far up in the sky that the creature couldn’t reach them anymore. That’s what they thought. Little did they know, it jumped far up in the sky and reached them back down to the island as the ship was destroyed. They were locked in battle.

Luckily, the drawer of weapons was still in good shape so they tried to look for something for revenge. As Paige looked for something useful, Ava tried to encourage the giant by saying” Give us the gem back!” but obviously the giant wouldn’t give it to them. Paige found a flamethrower ready to be launched but he was as tall as a skyscraper so it didn’t reach him. But they had a plan!

They dropped the weapon as Ava whispered” Fix the ship as we distract him” to Captain Hardy. Captain Hardy started and tried to do the best she could. On the other hand, Paige and Ava were making the giant think that they were going to die but they had protection that the giant couldn’t see. Captain Hardy fixed the ship and was ready on board. She Shouted Paige and Ava and took off safely but they knew it wasn’t the end…

Chapter 3

The mischievous thing happened as a weird, terrifying creature popped their head out of the bush. Suddenly, they all got butterflies in their stomachs. The hidden creature reveals itself. It looked like a tiger. They decided on a name for it, they decided frost- tiger.

The frost- tiger tries to communicate but no one understands it. They tried harder and harder to try to understand but they couldn’t. It sounded like “Y-Y-your i-in da-ng-er… H-H-hide whilst Y-Y-you can!” but Paige and Ave didn’t get it.

They had an idea! They tried to find a tiger whisperer. They went to every individual person on the island fr help. Finally, they found the man in the hut who turned out to be an animal whisperer.

As soon as they figured  out what the tiger said they ran to the ship! On their way to the ship they came across: muddy sticks; long pieces of grass and rocks you can easily trip over. As they made it to the ship Ava shouted “CAPTAIN CAPTAIN we need to tell you something!!” They told the captain and they were all shocked by a giant called the stone- giant to come and defeat us but it was too late to be warned…

Chapter 2

A few weeks later, the rain gushed harder as well as the hail damage on the ship got worse as time went on. No one knew what was happening as they all regretted the month they chose to sail. Dripping wet, the weather went faster and faster each time.

Upon the crows nest, the barrelman shouted “ISLAND AHEAD!” Captain Hardy pulled the brake as Paige and Ava fell backwards. They all individually looked at the map. They were shocked. They stared at each other and said… “Long Gone Island!” They landed.

The Aurora dropped to the ground. Ava shivered. They stepped out of the ship silently. The island looked abandoned as there was lots of dead grass, trees and bushes. They found a big, round object. They went to see what it was. It looked like an upside down ship filled with cobwebs.

Paige, Ava and the Captain separated and searched for evidence from the Captain of the abandoned ship. They found the Captain’s :(from the abandoned ship) boot; pirate hat; journal; cloak and a weird looking scarf. They found the journal and looked at their past location or adventure.

They spotted movement in the rustling bushes in the distance. They tried to corner whoever was in the bush. 30 minutes later no one came out until something mischievous happened…

On the island of Daisies,

I watched the city fill up like busy

bees collecting pollen.

On the island of Tulips,

I found a big and beautiful 

field filled with pink and red tulips.

On the island of Roses,

I heard a dancing-waver bashing 

onto the other trees in the forest.

On the island of Dandelions,

I felt the windy breeze brush 

My face it felt like a perfect spa day

at the beach.

On the island of lavenders,

I heard the mountain grow as

I walked up and became more 

quiet.

Prologue

The adventure of Skyship Aurora

Have you ever had a family day trip on a skyship?

In summer, you might have flown over the city, soaring high above the hills and across the warm sea. If you flew, there would have been blue skies, a soft breeze and green, lush fields. When flying through the air, there would have been the islands far below , fish boats with their brightly coloured sails and even a school of porpoises. You might have got taken to one of the nearby islands and landed the ship so that you could have a picnic. Travelling by skyship in the summer is like that.

But travelling on a journey to unknown lands is another matter. You should try a skyship journey when the weather chucks rain, the rain falls around you and the sky is split apart by rain and hail. You should try being there when sky zebras attack, scrambling across the shell ready to dig their poisonous hooves into your flesh or worse- tear the skyships inflatable apart. You should try being there when the food runs out and there is not even a drop of water in the jugs. Few people would wish that on anyone. Even experienced flyers think twice about travelling over the far islands. No one knows what creatures might live there. Rumour has it that there are thought- bears, stone- giants and cav-dragons. Few would wish for an encounter with a frost- tiger… and most say that the rumours are for a good reason.

Chapter 1 

The crowd was shocked as the skyship Aurora flew up into the air and floated for a moment before it took off. Captain Hardy came up to the steering wheel elated to take off with a tiny grin. They were off!

Paige and Ava peeked down as the ship rose off. In the distance you can see the crowd scream with joy, Paige and Ava laughed and smiled down at them. The Aurora glided over Melaw island and saw every sea creature possible from up in the sky as the clouds took over the view. 

They could hear the birds chirping music and seagulls laughing at each other as they moved across the sky. Paige and Ava stared at each other as Paige thought to herself…”Are we going to be able to get the gem that we need, is this even safe to do this?”

Dear Captain Harriet Culpepper,

I am writing to apply for a job on the skyship Aurora as a member of the crew for your latest journey. I hope that you may be considered a young , eager skyship traveller who will bring many different talents to help on your journey.

First of all, I have the ability to proceed with first aid. As a result of this, I can be there to help at any time even in emergencies. I have taken courses in my previous jobs.

Furthermore, my qualifications include a degree as a navigator of the skyship. As a result of this, I would be able to fly the skyship if the original navigator is off.

Moreover, in my previous jobs I have worked similar hours like this so I’m professionally skilled and I will be perfect at jobs like this.

Please consider me for a role as a new crew member. I do not eat much, can sleep on deck and will work hard for you.

This list will include things to help you on your next adventure, which will be in alphabetical order, and what equipment you’ll need. It will also explain what creatures to avoid.

A-D

Beware of the ancient trails as it may lead to caution and most importantly be aware of tumbling rocks. However be alerted by the bridge because it is filled with gaps and most likely to fall through it. Always know when you find caves, look for a glimmering crystal far in. Never approach the dragons guarding the ancient palace.

E-H

Look out for energy potions fr bunting or any other exhausting occasions. Always greet the fairies as they work like busy bees ( it makes them happy if you greet them). Beware of  goblins, they might bite off your ankles since they are so short. Just to warn you if you see a fire, it is not hot because it shares love but it’s rare to find, that is why it’s called hearts fire.

I-L

Never be scared if you see a giant, deep hole there will be an invisible bridge, you may not see it but trust me it is there. If you want to hide from the dragons then I suggest you use the  jacket of invisibility (it should be hanging in the tree near the invisible bridge) it will make the dragon confused. If however you can’t find the jacket ask one of the knights to calm the dragon down. If you miss a step on one of the bridges don’t be scared if you die because you won’t, there will be a levitation spell on you and will bring you back to the surface.

M-P

If you come upon a tiny mushroom house DON’T step on them, that’s where the fairies live and you will get never ending bad luck if you step on them! Mine in the caves and you can get special ores that can make you undefeatable by any creatures, even phoenixes  can’t get you .

Q-T

If you’re feeling adventurous on your adventure ask one of the fairies or fairy boss for quests  for fun. To start your quest go to ravens point, which is at the centre, if you are doing a scavenger hunt. If you do the hide n’ seek quest then be ready to transform into objects.

U-X

Whether you choose the riding quest you will be riding unicorns across the rainbow track and the last quest is knitting which is you make your enemy a voodoo doll to torture them. If you achieve every quest you get to have a wand that brings dead people back to life forever or get special glasses for x-ray vision.

Y-Z

To warn you, be careful the yuxa traitor, it’s a human transforming into a vicious snake and also a zombie vision.

Scatter into the museum and explore the never ending hallway. 

In front of every painting, there would be a catching quote (about their art) from the person who created them.

Near the entrance, seek the message along the paths to the indoors.

The village decades ago was known for being the river of arts.

In the museum, it’s filled with famous arts from years ago.

Dear Wonder Woman,

I am writing to persuade you to join the avengers; to become a superhero.

My first point is you are the perfect person because you fit right in. We can use your flying skills in our missions! You look the part, we need more flying heroes and have excellent skills since you are young. I would also like to argue that you need a uniform to match the Avengers team but do not worry we will customise one for you.

Furthermore, I am concerned that you will not be fighting because our coach has retired. To build on this concern, we need you to fight as well but we will be too busy to teach you.

I would like to point out that you will need to be as stealthy; mischievous as possible if you are going to fly from building to building since we can not be spotted by our opponent. Although some people suggest we use weapons (such as a Stick, Knife, Blade, Club and an Axe) for defence, we believe that having weapons will make us pop out so we attend to use our powers.

On the other hand, many people argue that we need more heroes so we are suggesting you join the avengers. So please if possible join you would be outstanding for the team.
