In the Curious Emporium
In the room of ice cream,
I drank hot chocolate.
In the room of fire,
I swam in a freezing cold swimming pool.
In the room of questions,
I answered them.
In the room of kittens,
I saw a puppy.
In the room of sand,
I saw smooth snow.
In the room of numbers,
I saw a letter.
In the room of cars,
I saw an airplane.
In the room of house animals,
I saw a terrifying tiger.
In the room of moons,
I saw a beaming sun.
In the room of crystals,
I saw a ridged rock.
In the room of emotions,
I felt funny and felt random,mysterious emotions controlling me.
In the room of homework,
I felt exhausted and my hand was aching like running a marathon.
In the room of rainbows,
I felt safe relaxing on the shiny,polished rainbow’s cloud dreaming about a sky full of butterflies landing on me
In the room of eggs,
I saw the fluffy easter bunny telling me to go find secret,suprises in rainbow eggs all around the playground.
In the room of teddies,
I felt as cpzy as relaxing at the warm,sunny beach in a chair of fluffy teddies.
Flower Fields in Holland by Maria
What are cold? Buttery hazelnut ice cream,a blanket of snow at Christmas and a black heart.
What are hot? A raging fire in a winter cabin,the sun’s beaming rays and a dragon’s breath.
What are pretty? A flower field in Holland,my cute cat Optimus Prime and a moon lit forest.
What are ugly? A green,worty troll, rusty train tracks and harsh words from a friend.
What are shiny? The Queens crown jewels,the still calm ocean and treasure in a shipwreck.
What are dull?The sand being blown by the wind in the Namib Desert,a maths test when its raining and a lifeless body in a coffin.
Go and open the ruby red door,maybe you’ll see
a swaying poppy,
a pool of blood rippling in the wind
and a tomato rolling on the ground.
Go and open the grass green door,maybe
there is a leave floating in the air,
an apple dropping from a tree
or paint smothered on the wall
Go and open the black door maybe you’ll see bats flapping their wings,
or a vampire sucking blood
and a dog eating food.
I have never seen the Northern lights by Maria
I have never seen the colourful, glowing Northern lights in Iceland,
but I have seen the fiery red arrows soaring through Black Pools sky.
I have never felt the silky,soft lion,
but I have felt my fluffy tabby cat purring out of the window.
I have never tasted a fried striped snail in France,
but I have tasted fried kale and prawns I cooked for my family.
I have never touched golden silk,
but I have touched my uncle’s curly black and white beard.
I have never worn a dress made from India by the best dress maker,
but I have worn a Christmas dress that my aunt hand made.
the room of chess,I found a enormous chessboard.
In the room of dogs,I could hear their barks from miles away.
In the room of sloths,they wrapped their arms around me and hugged me.
In the room of horses,I was trotted on with muddy hoofs.
In the room of water,I was slapped by wet towels.
In the room of animals,I heard lots of
noises.
In the room of the earth,I got to travel when I wanted.
Spring Fairy
Spring fairies are common but hard to find in the wild.Surprisingly, they only come out once a week for their supplies and meeting other magical creatures.They love fresh maple syrup from maple trees.
They are 8cm tall and have wings bigger than themselves.Normally, their wings are light blue,bright pink or a sunny yellow.They are very majestic and beautiful to a male eye and legends say they lerd men into their homes and have them as slaves.They are as big as mice and in fours they ride on rabbits to travel if they don’t want to fly.
They live in tree stumps and if you look closely you will be able to see in their very small windows.Amazingly, in the deep deep forest there will be small villages and markets also they need a mayor or a protector to protect them from bears,foxes,wolves or even badgers.
They have elder fairies for Autumn,Winter,Spring and Summer to decide who and what fairies should go out and find resources and small livestock to provide for them.They will guard jam with all their lives because it gives them magic powers but not like the avengers or justice league They have small rabbits as pets.When there bored they go adventering to get supplies and food .
Spring fairies have been around for many years there were one of the first creatures on land and are really cool if you see them .
