On the Island of Horror,

I saw people-haunters floating around

like abandoned balloon and sinister, slender spiders 

crawling along the overgrown grass.

One the Orange Island,

I found perfectly, plump pumpkins

sprouting in the summer night, terrorist-tigers sleeping

as silent as a mouse,

And foxes swarming in huge crowds.

On the Island of Cinnamon,

I smelt fresh cinnamon rolls just taken out the oven and 

churros with melted chocolate sauce dripping.

On the Island of Flowers,

fantastic, fascinating flowers

dancing in the rain and 

the perfect fragrance of pollen was unimaginable as ruby, red roses swayed and spun in the wonderful breeze.

On the Island of Cheese, 

I discovered cheese-nibblers scavenging for food

Desperate in need of a good meal and melted cheese sewing from fountains and diving into the mini pools.

Introduction 

The rose-maple moth is an extraordinary creature, who was only discovered five days ago. A team of zooligists were going through a rose field and spotted a baby rose-maple moth. They tried testing it but unfortunately it didn’t have any information about bigger rose-maple moths. The only thing that they found out was what it looks like and that all types of these creatures are herbivores . Would you be able to identify one or will you need to research every single thing? Appearance 

This magnificent creature is an absolutely adorable insect has bubblegum pink skin, sunflower yellow wings with an elegant ruby red rose pattern and it has stubby little limbs that are very hairy and small. It also has big wide purple eyes that can spot roses and Durians from miles away, a mouth that chews all the roses and Durian, a stinger that makes you love the taste and smell of roses when it stings you and a beautiful leaf crown.

Special Abilities

When she or he is angry it will turn black and blue, when it’s happy it will turn yellow and red and start playing happy music, mainly his or her favourite music and the only rose that it holds is its pet and it shoots out maple syrup that makes you glued to the floor.

Diet

The majority of rose-maple moths only eat roses and drink maple syrup. But this one is unusual because it doesn’t just eat roses and drink maple syrup, it also eats the most smelliest fruit called a durian. The flavour is how it knows it’s a durian, a durian tastes like cheese, almonds, garlic and caramel all at once. Also it eats roses but it’s very picky with its rose colour choices . It only likes the most ruby red roses and the most bubblegum pink roses. Feed them the wrong ones and they will get angry. They also drink the finest maple syrup from the supermarket.Fun fact: they are allergic to green food.

Habitat

This creature has five habitats! You will mainly find them at a rose field sleeping next to a rose or sleeping on top of the ruby red rose petals or hanging on one of the stems of a rose. Half the time they will be in a supermarket sleeping on top of a durian or inside one.

Alora ignored the noise and continued running. Panicking, she noticed the terrifying creature was gaining up on her. Suddenly, Alora heard a very faint creaking noise; she was looking everywhere for this door. Hoping she could find the door, she looked up and found the door on top of the monster’s head. “ Oh no, how am I going to get up on this thing’s head!” Alora screamed in bewilderment.

Worried, she didn’t know how she would climb up on the monster’s head. Suddenly, she remembered she used to be a gymnast, a very good one. So, she jumped high enough that she reached the monster’s hands. Immediately, Alora managed to jump into the monster’s hands. The creature looked bewildered for what Alora was doing, now Alora was grabbing hold of the monster’s body and climbed up until she eventually reached the horrifying behemoth’s head Alora, who was exhausted, finally got to the top of the monster.

Staring at the door, she opened the birch wood door only to fall onto the Emporium floor at the owner’s feet. Alora looked up to see the owner.

“Umm this is very awkward but i’m so sorry that I wrote in th-.” Rhiannon interrupted Alora rudely, “ How dare you disobey my one rule, it’s forbidden !” Rhiannon added angrily.

“I said I was sorry I’ll never do it again!”

“Promise?”

“ Yes I promise!”

“Okay well shouldn’t you be leaving its nearly 8:00 clock.”

“Oh yes but I don’t know where the exit is.”

“Follow me then Alora.” Rhiannon led Alora to the exit; Alora thanked the owner and went out the door to go home but remembered something she wanted to ask Rhiannon but when she turned to say what she was, the Emporium had turned into sparkles. “I didn’t even get to ask what in the world that thing was.” Alora said in disappointment. 

Eventually, when Alora got home she was exhausted so she said to her parents where she was and went up to her bedroom. Suddenly, she saw something that put her into shock. The book was on Aloras bed and beside the book was the monster head and hand but way smaller and looked like plastic. She went to go tell her mum and dad until she saw something, one of her favourite blue pens was floating up to the book and started to write something it said Hello Alora we meet again. Alora went to shout for her parents, unfortunately she couldn’t because she wanted to but she didn’t have the courage to say because she would have to explain what’s happening so she looked back at the book and said “H-hi…….

Chapter 3

Through the door

After several minutes of rushing through long, thick grass, Alora found something came right up to her face; it was a flock of birds filled with many exotic birds. Alora got scared so she ran as fast as lightning through the birds, across the stone bridge, over the river until she reached a cottage. She looked through the window and saw a cosy yellow sofa, colourful photos, two flower pots with yellow, purple and red petals and a big flat screen TV; she went over to another window to find a kitchen with huge dining table, cupboards stacked to the ceiling, a black stove top with white rings where you put saucepans and a grey fridge with pictures that looked like a 5 year old drew them. Then she heard a noise.

Something had crashed to the ground making the ground vibrate. Alora ran inside to make sure nobody was inside the cottage or to make sure nobody was hurt. Eventually, she got inside the house and in the living room the two plant pots were on the ground shattered into a thousand pieces. Alora  was relieved that nobody was hurt. Suddenly, she saw something she thought she would never see. She saw yellow, red and purple figures falling from this creature, it had sharp teeth sharper than a kitchen knife and eyes like blood.

Alora ran out the cottage, through the river and she got to the door but it had disappeared into thin air. “ Aloraaa…..
