The Legend of the Unicorn

The legend of the Ocean Unicorn

The Ocean Unicorn, which is a rare breed of flying horse, is found near the great barrier reef.

Every weekend, unicorngeologists gather near a ravine to find out about these amazing species, during recent lockdown periods, these winged animals have become harder to find and have been travelling from the Pacific to the Atlantic. To the delight of many humans, the Ocean Unicorn has now been spotted in the Atlantic Ocean recently, taking advantage of the Ocean Unicorn and many others. However there is more to be researched about this mysterious creature.

Appearance

Would you be able to recognise a Ocean Unicorn if you saw one?

In fact they are very similar to the large majority of Unicorns. Like most Unicorns they have a horn, magical wings, astonishing eyesight, a body shaped like a horse and a mysterious navy blue colour. Some people believe to have spotted this species, it has diamonds as its teeth and wavy soft, sapphire hair.

Many people believe that the Ocean Unicorn can grant any wish you ask for, but this is yet to be proved. If you truly believe that one is hiding in your area it is probably best to keep this information to yourself.

Feather gliding

What are light? A feather gliding across the meadow in the soft breeze,

a flower falling from a Magnolia Kobus

and butterfly fluttering its wings down to the grass.

What are heavy? A leaning tree full of blossom,

my brothers gym equipment

and broken branch on the field.

What are soft? A pair of silk pyjamas,

a squirrel stuffed animal

and the last cotton bud on my moms vanity.

What are hard? My teachers maths lessons,

a new glass window

and a 636 page Harry Potter book.

What are fragile? A child’s first tooth,

a China teacup and plate

and a butterflies wings.

What are tough? My last couple of brain cells,

a sharks teeth after it attacked its pray

and a lion after they fight each other in their habitat.

What is quiet? A mouse as it attempts to find food under the kitchen floorboards,

a child secretly trying to open the sweet packet

and a local library in town.

What are loud? Fireworks on new years day,

an ambulances sirens

and my dad’s motorcycle engine.

I want to paint

I want to paint a shimmering sunset glowing across the cornish coast,

a haughty heron flying over the warm water,

a ruby-red mini arriving at the beach.

I want to paint the crashing waves as ferocious as a car crash,

a cold crab sprinting across the slippery sand,

a boiling beach as vicious as a volcano.

I want to taste the taste of fresh fizzy drinks,

the taste of incredible ice-cream waiting to be eaten,

the smell of shining salt sea water crashing against the rocks.
