The Vaibhavi’s adventure

Prologue 

Have you ever been on a family day trip on a skyship ? In summer , you would have probably flown over a forest , soaring high above the trees and across the cold waterfalls . When you flew , there would have been baby blue skies , a gentle breeze and that wonderful sense of freedom . When you flew , there would have been lakes far below , mermaids with their brightly coloured tails and even a school of axolotl’s . You probably got taken to one of the nearby lakes and landed the ship so that you can have a peaceful picnic . travelling by skyship in the summer is like that .

But travelling on an expedition to unknown forests is another matter . You should try a skyship adventure when the winds blow aggressively , the thunder rumbles around you and the sky is ripped into shreds by jagged lightning . You should try being there when dragons attack , scrambling across the hull ready to hypnotise you with their roars and growls – tear the sky-ships inflatable apart . You should try being there when all of the food runs out and there is not even a singular drop of water left in the barrels . Few people would wish that on anyone . Even experienced flyers think twice about travelling eat over the distant , magical forests . No one knows what creatures might live there . Rumour has it that there are thought-bears , mysterious-mermaids and lake-dragons . Few would wish for an encounter with one of the mysterious-mermaids… and most say , that rumours are for a good reason.

Chapter 1

The crowds cheered as the Vaibhavi skyship set off and rose high up into the sky , as Captain Ovid stood by the steering wheel , their smiles lit up with joy as they lifted higher and higher . They were up in the air !

Uki and Leizu peered over the edge of the ship as the exited human beings got smaller and smaller until they were eventually a mass of tiny dots . The Vaibhavi soared over the desperately exited people and their small towns . 

Uki and Leizu could feel the gentle breeze blow in their faces as they waved to the crowd , the Vaibhavi continued going forward and elevating higher . Uki smiled softly as he finally has freedom . Inside , his heart was beating heavily and skipping a few beats once in a while . Is this safe ? What if the flight fails ? 

After a few hours , The Vaibhavi was now soaring over a ocean . Far below ,  Leizu saw many boats and pointed at them gesturing Uki to look at them . As Uki walked to the edge to see the boats , Leizu gripped onto the edge of the skyship . ‘’I wonder if we will discover the magical-mermaids’ he mumbled as he fiddled with his fingers . 

After a couple minutes of admiring the gleaming sun and the blue of the sky started to dim . The moon began taking shape and shone down at the Vaibhavi as icy rain started to pour out of the clouds . Suddenly , the golfball sized hail started to shift the skyship downwards .

Chapter 2 

Over the next few days , the Vaibhavi was dangerously low and needed a place to land , or something severe would happen . The golfball sized hail had hurt the skyship every day ripping the sail into shreds .

Leizu leaned off of the edge and spotted an island . ‘’Island ahead , careful ! ‘’ Leizu called out in amusement . The captain got a hold of the map and his smile lit up as he glanced at the name of the magical island . Uki pointed at the ship in the distance , on the island , drowning in a vast lake . Why would there be a sky-ship in a random lake on and isolated island ? 

‘’Excellent spot!’’ The captain volcalised joyfully as he decided to land the ship on the unknown island also knowing the sky-ship was at risk . As they landed , Uki and Leizu stepped out of their sky-ship and explored the drowned ship desperately trying to find anything that could help them with their adventure , Captain Ovid looked for materials that could help him fix the shreds in the sail . 

Uki got a hold of a clue and gestured to Leizu to swim out . As Leizu and Uki climbed out of the water , they had a thought of splitting up to see if they could possibly find anything that could help them answer that mysterious clue that they found in a random ship . 

Uki and Leizu are officially split up , both desperately searching for the clues answer .  As moments passed of searching and searching , Uki spotted small ripples in the ake beside him with the corner of his eye . Something peeked out and it was really bright , colourful and magical . What could it possibly be? 

Chapter 3

As soon as Uki looked at the lake , the colourful something submerged back into the water . He sat down by the sie of

the lake and traced his hand along the waterline . As he was

doing that , a lavender coloured creature swam closer and closer , faster and faster to Uki , which made him instantly move away from the lake . After a few moments , it was now quiet so Uki sat down by the lake until a joyful voice popped out . “ Hello… don’t run ! Us axolotls wish people no harm at all ! “ The voice spoke as it swam out of the water . 

“ Other species like lake-dragons have negative energy and do wish you harm ! They really appreciate of you do as they tell you… so young sir , don’t listen to them as it may be a trap. “ The axolotl warned him and Uki nodded in understandment .

He stood up and waved goodbye to the axolotl as it swan back into the water.  Now that Uki knows the danger of the vast forest , he went looking to go looking for Leizu to gather by the ship with the captain . Hours and hours passed of searching and there wasn’t a sign of Leizu anywhere , he thought of giving up until… Uki spotted Leizu’s bright blonde hair in the distance . 

Uki , Leizu and Captain ovid are now gathered all together by the skyship . They all updated each other on the things that have happened , Uki warned them about the lake-dragon that the axolotl talked about . Captain Ovid pointed at the pile of materials that he found when the boys went exploring to cover up the shreds in the sail and  cracks in the sky-ship . They helped the captain fix the shreds and cracks , and after a little while the ship was ready to set of until…

Chapter 4 

The end…

The lake-dragon that Uki got warned about was behind him . They all jumped as the dragon whipped the floor aggressively with his tail . Now it is not a good idea to set off . What are they going to do ? 

Its ruby-red eyes can cry out blood . How fascinating is that? It has razor-sharp teeth that could quite possibly devour their enemies body . Leizu got alerted by his thoughts . What if the terrorising , long tail can wrap around their necks and suffocate them ? What if its huge wings will wrap around them and squish them until they become as flat as pancakes ?

It growled in a low tone , What could it possibly want ? Above , the dragon started towering over the Vaibhavi . Below , it was squeezing the ship . “ What did you do to our ship ! “ Uki cried out . 

Something danced around in Leizu’s pocket . As he took it out , he got a thought , can it repel the dragon? Half of the voices in his head told him not to do it as it might kill it , and the other half told him to do it even if theres bad consequences . At the end he decided to throw it at the dragon and repel it . 

The captains heart sunk as he realised that he fixed the ship just for it to get broken again . They all sighed in disappointment . They went searching desperately for some materials . Something cut Leizu on the hand from a bush . After a few hours of searching and fixing , the ship was read and they hopped in . It set off and the all waved goodbye to the island . 

The Vaibhavi sailed through the skies . New lands . New islands . New people . New adventures awaiting for them .

Dear captain Harriet Cullpepper,

I am writing to apply for a job on the skyship. I hope that you may have a vacancy for a young and eager person who will bring many different talents and joy on your journey .

First of all ,  I am extremely experienced at steering boats and ships . This may be very useful if you need a skilled captain . They have promised me that they will also help me settle into any jobs that you do have for me.

Secondly , my qualifications include a degree in ship engineering an steering ships . As a result of this I will be able to help the ship if it has any mechanical issus or i can replace the captains place if hes too tired . 

Additionally , I have always been good at cooking . This means that if someone is hungry on board , I can be a chef and bless them with a delighting meal. 

Finally , I would like to point out that i have a lot of knowledge and much experience of these type of jobs . I will also keep a eye on the people you don’t trust .

The explorers handbook.

This is a book – which is in alphabetical order – will help you to decide what equipment to bring for your next adventure or first adventure . It will also tell you what creatures to avoid since there is a risk of you getting killed . Hope this would help you on your journey .

A – D : 

Beware of the ancient path  as you may come across many traps , instead use the longer and much safer route to get to your final destination . When you see the bridge in the distance , stop immediately and wait until its night time . As soon as the blue of the sky disappears , look for a glowing crystal for light and keep bad away from you , then continue your journey . Watch out for the diamonds on the path because they are very sharp and you may get injured .

E – H : 

As you come across the energetic elves dont look at them since their dresses can hypnotise you. Always carry fireworks with you for self defence . The Gelatinous cube is very dangerous as it can curse you if you touch it . The heartfire of your soul lets you control items and catch your enemies on fire . 

I – L : 

Always carry a invisible blanket with you , so you can throw it over you when your being hunted by bears . Never drink from a jungles lake where mermaids swim as there may be a risk of you getting poisoned . Play the Kazoos  magical melody to open up a safe . Once you opened the safe , pull the lever that opens the entrance to a cave . 

M – P : 

As you walk into the magical cave , look around there and get comfortable since you will probably be staying there until you find an exit . A Nav’ appears infront of you and closes the cave entrance . Ahead of you lies a ore that is haunted by a Ōkubi (a death spirit) dont pay attention and move on . Once you have moved on , you will probably see a  Phoenix gem  which you need so replace the phoenix gem with the crystal you have in your hand and continue with your journey.

Q – T : 

The Quetzalcoatl bird will follow you with every step that you take , hes your new friend now . Dont follow the arrows on the cave walls that take you to Ravens point as there may be traps along the way that will probably lead you to your death . Look out for the poisonous slithering snakes that will wrap around you neck and make you run out of breath . After a while you find the exit and you head your way to a  Tavern to eat something . 

U – X : 

 You are peacefully eating and a Uwan , which is a spirit that shouts at people to scare them , jumps up behind you and shouts straight into your ear . A Vaibhavi slithers around the Uwans shoulder and scares you so you run out of the tavern . The wind is aggressively blowing into your face while you look for a xylophone  to play a melody to make the snakes run away from your town . 

Y and Z : 

You trip over a yo-yo and injure yourself severely on the rocks . You find out that the yo-yo was made out of zinc that a zombie made . uh oh .

You skip around the forest and

enchanting butterflies flutter 

around you. 

Inside the flowers, you can hear

bees buzzing and spot them 

collecting nectar.

You’re wandering around the forest,
you stop and see yourself standing
next to a beautiful lake. You see fish
swimming in the crystal clear water.

After a while, the blue of the sky fades 

away you start admiring the stars in the
beautiful sky.

Once you finish admiring the night sky ,

you look down and you spot a crystal
path leading to a sparkling portal .
You walk up into it until…

On the island of Tenshi ,
I came across a beautiful

forest ; the vast variety of

trees welcomed me in peace.

On the island of Spade ,
I heard sky-gliders squawking 

out for their fellow friends in
the snowy mountains.

On the island of Splub ,
I felt the deep memories of
the chaotic cities that no
longer exist here.

On the island of club ,
I found beautiful lakes as
clear as brand new , clean
glass.

What to do if you meet an Alien

If you are shocked by an unexpected meeting with an extraterrestrial , read these instructions to discover what to do . If a UFO has landed in front of your house and you find yourself face-to-face with a little orange being from the other side of the galaxy , these instructions may as well save your life!

No equipment is needed.

What you might do :

• First check that this is really and alien as this might lead to an awkward situation with someone else .  Identifying features may include :

• 1 eye

• Weird coloured skin

• Talking in a strange language (not spanish or italian)

• A body shape that is non-human

Next , you would want to greet it by taking your hand out . If it steps back its scared so take your hand back , If it looks angry take your hand back immediately or there will be serious consequences.

If the alien seems aggressive then you have a few options :

. Tell it to go back from where it came from

. If it approaches you run away

. Do not make it mad

.Give them food

If you ever do come across an alien , bear the above instructions and suggestions in mind . Make sure that you do not make them feel under threat . The consequences of this could be catastrophic.
