Optimistic, Ava contorted to fit in the hole. Hesitant, she dropped into the misty water. Suddenly, she felt a tingly feeling all over her. As she blinked, the room got bigger and bigger but it wasn’t the room it was her. She was getting smaller! To her surprise, there was a potion on the table that read ‘enlarging potion’. Ava knew that the only was to get out on here was to make a tower out of the pebbles that surrounded her. After the hard effort, she reached the potion and managed to push it towards her to drink it. Finally, she drank the potion and was back to her normal size. But there was no way out…

Chapter 2-A warning disobeyed

” I am Mr Grand,” he exclaimed until he saw the uncomfortable look on her face. ” You are welcome to look around but leave the book alone, it is not a toy to be played with!”

And just like that, he walked though the curtain. Without thinking, she opened the book again. Suddenly, a pen as gold as the sun appeared and the book turned to an empty page. She started to draw a forest with a lake in the middle. When she was finished drawing, light was coming out the book and she got sucked in…

There are places where people go in but never comes out. The Never-Ending emporium is one of those places.

Even though the warm lights where beaming through the windows. Even though the fresh smell of  fish and chips coming through the door. Even though they could hear the sound of laughter coming from inside. 

But everyone stopped coming in due to the fact that there friends never came out. No one that is until Scarlet.

There were glorious gizmos and breath-taking books but there was one book that stood out the most it was the biggest, thickest book she had every seen. Full of questions, she opened the book – not knowing that was going to be the worst decision she ever made.

” I see you found my book” a voice spoke. She jumped to see an old man behind the counter.

I could see a bathtub full of  bogey green eyes.

I could hear a hissing coming from the living room.

I could smell the meat of a boar getting ripped apart in the kitchen.

I could sense a crocodile creeping up on me.
