There are places where people go in but never comes out. The Never-Ending emporium is one of those places.

Even though the warm lights where beaming through the windows. Even though the fresh smell of  fish and chips coming through the door. Even though they could hear the sound of laughter coming from inside. 

But everyone stopped coming in due to the fact that there friends never came out. No one that is until Scarlet.

                     Chapter 1 – Through the door 

Scarlet had always been peculiar since the disappearance of her father. She suspected that the Never-Ending Emporium had a hand in this. So, one night she sneaked out of the house to Never-Ending Emporium. Unexpectedly, the door was open. Without thinking she stepped in.

There were glorious gizmos and breath-taking books but there was one book that stood out the most it was the biggest, thickest book she had every seen. Full of questions, she opened the book – not knowing that was going to be the worst decision she ever made.

” I see you found my book” a voice spoke. She jumped to see an old man behind the counter.
