NEGATIVE

Barry stared at the burger. Outside the shop window , the cold wind swept across the dull town. Cars purred by and on the promenade , discarded papers tumbled along , driven by the wind. The sea rolled up the abandoned lonely beach , crashing against the uneven rocks that fringed the frozen shoreline .

POSITIVE

Barry stared at the burger. Outside the new shop window , the warm refreshing wind swept across the happy ,cheerful countryside. Cars purred by and on the promenade, colourful fish and chip papers tumbled along ,driven by the wind . The sea rolled up the bright welcoming beach , crashing against the soft rocks that  fringed the luxurious  shoreline .

The waves crashed  aggressively against the ancient uneven rocks ; the horrifying rain lashed down . James -who was very young – surfed in these conditions all the time but today was very different very different indeed . He stopped to make sure he had the  three things he had bought : his new water bottle; his worn out surf board ;and his spare pair of trunks.

As the light began to fade, the police car accelerated down the shadowy street, drove round the corner speedily and came to a halt in front of the bank, blocking the robbers escape route.

As the sun began to rise , the young dragon landed on top of the old rickety fence ,crawled towards the school cautiously and paused in front of the teacher considering whether to attack or not.

The snow fell as Tom waited inside his flat .His phone rang so he picked it up and  listened to what there was to say . He then put the phone down and darted across the room .He picked up his suitcase ,packed it and opened the door. So he hurried down the flight of stairs .

Although it was scary , I still fed the shark.

In case there was no one there I played my music very loudly.

Since it was a strange request I gave a frog a helping hand.

Whenever there was a bad smell I bought my gas mask.

When it was silent I played my trombone.

Bob ran down the road and he fell over.

The thunder roared so the Hobbits hid.

Bilbo slept in a cave so the goblins attacked.

The cart came to a wheezing halt as soon as Gandalf strode into the scary hobbit hole.

Jim was interested in the idea until he rang his negative friend.

Owls are nocturnal so this means they are active at night and  have excellent eyesight.
