Several hours later, the crew had returned to the sky ship.They had now fed the dragon and warmed it up they were now sailing through the night sky using only the moon to guide them. Lucy had found a nice warm place to hold the dragon for a little while, the baby dragon had eaten well and was know playing about with Hunter. Immediately, the baby dragon fell asleep immediately. 

Oliver stood alone on deck, wondering if he will ever get home alive. Suddenly, they heard a shudder of something near them. Something or someone was climbing up the side of the sky ship. Lucy grabbed Oliver and pushed him to the side to see for herself. Quietly, they got a shiver down there spine. Oliver stood hoping it wouldn’t be an************.

Peering over the edge, Lucy could just make out a weird shape on the side of the sky ship. Oliver shuddered as he whispered to Lucy What is it but it looks big.

Lucy looked over the edge and appeared to see a figure floating around it’s a landing ship. A tiny ship that people sometimes use if the sky ship breaks down. Both of you need to still do your homework before bed time or you won’t be ready for school when we get back.

About twenty minutes later, they were both fast asleep dreaming about happy things. The sky ship floated silently in the air. 

Oliver shook nervously as the sky ship twirled to land. The ground rushed up to meat them. As they got closer and closer, Lucy held onto the railings of the sky ship tightly. As they started to approach they  ended up going faster and faster. Hunter stood still in horror . They approached land. Oliver didn’t dare to look. Lucy was fine. She wanted to explore. 

As it came to rest on what looked like an rusty, old abandoned city, they were terrified. In the far corner, trees were fallen down to the root.  All around them Broken glass windows were all over the place . It was a disaster! Everyone froze on the spot in fear. They shook nervously. At the nearest corner, Tall, rusty sky scrapers were bending over.  They felt a shiver down there spine.

A short time later, there was no sound to be heard. They shook nervously in fear as they stood there silently all alone. They were petrified. All of them including Hunter were hugged together as if something was about to happen. 

At that moment, they saw something in the distance …

Some thing was crawling up the corner of the sky ship. Oliver, whose teeth chattered hid under the sky ships table but Lucy rushed over to see what was there. She looked over at the dusk below. She could just make out an animal of some sort climbing up the side of the sky ship. It was quite little and had petrifying dark blueish green eyes. It paused and look right up at her. ” It…it’s a baby dragon” Lucy shouted to Oliver surprisingly. ” It’s hurt ” Lucy said unfortunately. Oliver quickly grabbed a nice, warm blanket and wrapped it up nervously. It must have got hurt in this ugly, abandoned city.

The sky ship adventure 

Lucy cut the rope and they were off. Lucy, Oliver and Hunter the dog sailed into the dusk. They didn’t realise Oliver was hanging off the rope of the sky ship. He was petrified. He slowly climbed up the rope nervously. Would they reach their destination? In the air the clouds began to surround them. Within warning, heavy winds blew them off course . Will the sky ship survive? 

Out of the blue, heavy rain started pelting down onto the sky ship. Oliver shook. His face dropped . He didn’t know what was happening. Lucy was acting as if nothing was happening. Hunter was barking loudly. Lucy tried to control the sky ship.The wind blew the ship towards…

What looked like a dragons cave. Dragons were swooping in and out .They came pelting towards us. ” Quick Quick ” shouted Oliver.    ” Im trying ” Lucy shouted back.         ” Bark Bark ” Barked Hunter.        Lucy went as quick as she could . The dragons were breathing out fire balls . Finally Lucy lost  them in the clouds. 

They traveled back to were they started. The sky ship slowly sailed down. They were back  home again.

An invisibility coat to make sure I won’t be the dragons dinner.

An  enchanted, diamond sword to protect me from the fierce dragons.

A potion of strength to lift heavy objects on the journey.

A bright torch guiding the way ahead of me.

A pair of enchanted boots to be able to walk on fire.

A magical box of wishes only to be used in emergencies.

A bright star to blind what tries to defeat me.

A scary, strong dragon to fight back the whatever comes.

A pair of magical binoculars to see whats coming in the distance.

An invisibility coat to make sure I won’t be the dragons dinner.

His malevolent ,red eyes

staring into the distance.

Long, razor sharp claws

digging into the earth surface.

Huge, long wings

swooping from side to side in the wind.

Wide,fierce jaws

snapping on it’s prey.

Long ,venomous tail

sweeping  on the rough surface floor.

Sharp, pointy teeth

chewing on it’s food.
