go and open the door…

Go and open the yellow door,

maybe  you will find a blond

banana bathing in the bright sun.

Go and open the orange door,

maybe you will see a tempted tiger

as furry as a pair of gloves.

Go and open the white door,

maybe you will feel the freezing cold frost

biting your nose.

Go and open the midnight door,

maybe you will hear a clock ring as it

strikes 12 o, clock

Chapter 4

Leaving the continuous voice that made his ears shiver,Qasim stopped. He stood there confused and thought that the door had stood right there. There was no door but there were trees scattered on the grass, and at the end he saw the door standing there in silence waiting patiently. Qasim took a long glance at the trees and figured out a way to get to the door.

Taking a step back, he ran through and jumped over the trees towards the mysterious door.He finally reaches the end of the forest and takes a deep breath. Desperately, he opens the door and lays there quietly. Then he notices that he is back in the emporium and says to himself.”What had happened?”

Regretfully, he sneaked down the corridor and tiptoed into the shop.Mr Michael Lawson gazed at him “so you have come.id you like the experience?”He shook his head not thinking about anything.”The thing is,” Michael Lawson slowly explained to him , “you can go on many adventures but you must always be  careful when stepping in a door at the emporium“.The man put down the clock that he was holding as he finished fixing it.

Qasim slowly stepped out on the street and after, wanted to find out lots more. But Mr Michael Lawson and the Emporium had vanished into thin air. It  had gone as if it had never been there. He started to feel the magic of the emporium and shrugged.

It might be tomorrow , he thought  as he walked home. Maybe tomorrow.

But as he left, he didn’t notice that the snake had started to slowly follow him and hideously watch him like he could do it his whole life.

Chapter 1

Qasim had always wanted to know, but his mother had always warned him  that it would lead him to danger .  One foggy Friday he was walking down the road when he noticed something weird about the Emporium. For once, the door was open and without really thinking about it, he stepped inside.

Everywhere he looked, it was filled with wonders that he wanted to take for himself. He saw an old, rusty bookshelves leaning against the rough walls and books scattered across the tables. He could also see lots and lots of wooden clocks ticking as he came closer. As he walked closer he saw books standing with its pages spreading out like you spread jam on toast , its shadows casting as the wind blows across the room. On one of the counters he saw shiny bowls full of sweets glittering. But the thing that really caught his eye was an old book full of myths but just as he opened the book he saw letters forming like a swarm of bees.

“I see you’ve found my book of myths,” whispered an unexpected voice. Qasim gasped, slammed the book and looked up at the owner, He was an old man whose eyes shone like emeralds and his hand was gripped onto a wooden walking stick.

A treasure

If I were summoned

to create a treasure,

I would take:

The sound of

People cheering as liverpool won the champions league

the sound of a helicopter as it land on the ground

and the sound of rain pouring down on my window.

The touch of

The hot sun beating down at me,

The rain pattering down on my shoulders

and the touch of a fluffy blanket wrapping  around you.

The smell of

Fresh berries waiting to be eaten

the smell of fresh wet grass waving

and the scent of perfume wandering around.

The taste of the first slice of pizza

and the scent of perfume  wandering around.

The sight of

the waves crashing loudly

,the most beautiful sunset through my window

And the satis flying gloomy moon.

my sadness poem

My sadness is made from –

When Mr sweeny has a loud voice and

shouts at me, when I do my work wrong,

The noise of when everyone  playing and leaving me out,

the sound of  my alarm clock beeping at 7:30 in the morning

 to wake me up,

The feeling of when people dont be kind to you and

When you lose one of your loved ones.

I found sadness –

Waiting  at a graveyard for someone to come and feel sad for there

Loved ones,

The sound of playing and leaving someone out,

Crawling in someone’s mouth  and wobbling a tooth that hurts them.

This sadness can-

Transform a beautiful city into a broken  town that looks like a ghost town,

It can turn someones pretty grin into a sad crying face,

It can make a blue sky into grey and black clouds.

chapter1

David  Suttern  never  wanted  to  leave  his  family  but  he  had  to  go .Once  he  stared  out  of  the  diamond  glass  window  he  started  to  wipe  all  of  his tears away that rolled down his rough red cheeks.

His first day of school felt really really long because he was really fidgety and he easily got distracted. His teacher makes him sit next to him on the front row so he can watch whatever he does. Once he even  slept in class and  his strict teacher Mr

Sweeny shouts at him so loud that he instantly wakes up.  When it was home time, David was getting ready to race out of class as fast as a cheetah to try and get home

first.

The school hours turned to days and every day David started to feel that he belonged to

his class. Then he began to get home quicker because Mr Sweeney kept him in less and less. Outside, there was a giant bushy apple tree that hides in the distance and patches of hay that lay down on the green grass. Inside, the dust  floats in the air and  the tiny little spiders crawl on the dusty walls.

Every night, David gets woken up because of the rusty and broken gate that gets opened by Mrs Booth all the time. The gate leads to the deep dark forest where she disappears in the night. David wants  to know about this mystery so he jumps out of bed, gets his shoes on and disappears into the forest too. As David watches through the trees he sees Mrs booth open a shed door and something long and slimy comes out…. It is a snake!

In the room of …

In the room of pencils,

every time I spoke my words appeared on the white walls.

In the the room of ice,

the freezing cold breeze pinched my nose as I got closer.

In the room of glass,

the crystal clear diamonds shimmered in the spotlight.

In the room of peace,

everyone was quiet like a mouse.

Finally I stood in the room of bees,

honey dropped from the roof.
