Chapter 4

Ferb started walking them round the island while Claudia was being a chatter-box to him. Claude kept trying to close her mouth but he had no luck, she loved how Ferb listened in (he was definitely bored). They arrived at a crack in the ground which had lava in the depths, Ferb had told them it was named ‘The Crack of Dawn’. Claude was suspicious about Ferb. Claudia kept reminding Claude to use manners. Ferb had a great idea, she thought that they could gather materials to make a boat so they could find their way home.

As they explored, Claude had discovered a cave behind the volcano, He went to get Claudia to show her when Ferb had come out with lumps and bundles of wood and stones. both of them stood in shock as Ferb offered them his Oster-Blades to help get around faster. Luckily Claude had massive feet so they acted as some huge skates. Claude put them on and piggybacked Claudia while Ferb (and only Ferb) was building the raft.

When it was complete, Claudia and Claude came back with oodles of snacks and drinks. As they loaded it all on the raft, Ferb went to his home, picked up a picture of his family and brought it with him, the three of them drifted off into the mist never to return.

Chapter 3

Something was appearing from behind the active volcano! Claudia, who was trying to not make a noise, accidentally stood on a twig and it split in half. Worrying, she hid behind Claude as the species revealed its identity. When Claudia and Claude saw the animal it was a big, chubby, fluffy multicoloured ostrich.

Claude screamed in fear, not realising it was just a harmless ostrich. Claudia’s eyes glistened in the sun as she took a look at the bird, she immediately loved it. She tried to warn Claude off so he wouldn’t whack the poor thing with a wooden plank.

“My name is Ferb” replied the ostrich. “Claude, we have a talking bird!” shouted Claudia while Claude was trying to control his instinct to scare it away. They were right they did have a talking bird. But was it going to be any help?

Claudia clutched the edge of the wall with all her pure strength, the same as her brother Claude, as the Roaring Fish rocked back and forth each second.

You’ve probably been on a sky ship before, where there’s calm breezes and blue skies, but not here – this was a sky ship with lots of turbulence. When the Roaring Fish took flight, Claudia was frightened about the journey ahead but Claude was having the time of his life. The ship had such large tips and turns from time to time sometimes even loops! They had to hold on tight for this because it was a long day.

“Woah an alarm?” said Claudia, “That’s never happened before, right?” The noise kept getting louder and louder, it seemed like someone or something was invading the ship! “AHH!” screamed Claude, “ITS GONNA EAT ME!”

The rumour spread that he’d seen an alien but much larger than they’d imagined. Claudia grabbed onto Claude’s shirt pushed him under the table with herself and screamed, “It’s a crash landing the aliens took over the ship, cover your head!” Did they get out in time? Or will this story come to a crash landing too?

I would take a gecko that can camouflage you when you hold him in the palm of your hand.

I’d bring a detector that can sense evil people or animals when suspected.

Some sunglasses (which can handle any heat) that can resize for any ages.

A never-ending food basket for your nasty tummy grumbles.

I’d take a fan that produces 100x more air so that you can breathe on board.

I would take a water jug that only needs refilling once a decade so you won’t get dehydrated.

Three parachutes that will hold up to 20 people each.

Lastly a hair brush that takes out any loose hair on its own in case you need a good trim.

You are the misty haze with in the depths of the jungle.

You are the cruel tigers letting out their venomous roar.

You are the dusk beige Amazon River with all the hidden alligators.

You are the swinging monkeys running away from lumber jacks.

You are the snakes slithering up the trees trying to reach prey.

You are the parrots peeping, interrupting your good night’s rest…

You are the waterfall cascading down the mountains catching piranhas on your way.

You are the jaguars sprinting to grab food.

You are the digging hole of the armadillo crawling along the jungle grounds.

A Rainbow of Masks

I wore the red mask and saw 

the dark dripping blood tingling on my arm,

the chilli making my tongue sizzle and burn,

and my melting heart slowly disintegrating. 

I wore the black mask and saw 

shadows following my every footstep,

the dark silky skin of mine, 

and the night sky soon turned to day.

I wore the white mask and saw

 the fluffy white sheep in the farm,

the cold, hard snow melting in my hands,

and the creamy cream spread on my crispy toast.

I wore the pink mask and saw

the tulips in the the green grass,

the cherry blossom blooming,

and strawberry ice  cream topped with a juicy cherry.

I wore the blue mask and saw 

the big blue whale swim in the Pacific Ocean, 

the gas fire flame shooting out of my car flaming and burning,

and a bright blue eye of my friend.

I wore the orange mask and saw 

my pumpkin spiced latte which tastes delicious,

the great fluffy tiger fur

and an apricot which made my mouth water . 

The Meadow Goblins

Meadow goblins are the friendliest goblins in the universe because when you see them they have a giant, jolly smile on their faces. You can rarely see a meadow goblin because most of the time it’s camouflage but normally, it’s watching you play. Also, if it is not there seeing you then it must be eating, sleeping, or playing different games(like skipping). Read on to understand what a Meadow goblin is…

Appearance

Interestingly, the goblin has two medium-sized wings which she or he barely ever shows. The friendly goblin has a thin body that helps it be camouflaged in the sturdy trees. The majority of goblins have round, beautiful eyes that will make you feel that you want to be his or her friend. You can recognize a female by looking at whether it has a flower pattern on they’re back. The minority of meadow goblins are males that wear a grass pattern on their backs too. Furthermore, the males wear a sowed jumper made out of grass and shorts that are just leaves stuck together with mud(they wear this even in the winter when it is raining or snowing). The females wear a long dress made out of grass and leave as well. Both of them wear a hat made out of wheat they collect that has blown away from the nearby farms. Occasionally, the Meadow Goblins wear slippers made out of leaves (which they normally have to share.)In fact, nearly everything is made out of grass, leaves, and mud!

Diet

Almost all of these forms of goblins are herbivores and only some are omnivores. The omnivores normally sneak into the nearby houses and silently tiptoe to the bin and gobble up the leftover meat the people had eaten! If they get spotted they run as fast as they can. Did you know that Meadow goblins can run fifteen miles per hour? They are the seventh most fastest goblin along with deer goblins. In addition, the herbivore goblins like to sneak into houses and grab some vegetables like lettuse,cabbage,and more. They also sometimes like to eat cheese if the have to.However,the sometimes are allergic to that an have to go to bed for one day or in goblins year seventeen hours.

Habit

They normally do this when they’re share of grass has ended.Each goblin gets it’s own share that is nine kg of grass and they have to use it sensibly (that last part the goblin doesn’t listen to).They make they’re homes at the middle of the meadow where no kid goes.As every goblin, the meadow goblin make it’s homes and beds out of leaves,grass and sticks. Unusually,they kichen comes first and then the bedroom(this maybe like the your homes but it’s different for the goblin species.

Now you understand how naughty,clever they are.Wait, stop reading I can see something in your garden.A goblin?OH NO not him again!LOOK OUT!!
