The dragons

As I wandered down the dark hill; I started to see dragons: one brown and white and the other green, they were in their vine-covered nests. I wanted to stay away so I looked in the water instead it was covered in a shroud of mist; nothing could be seen. Then I heard it, the dragons had seen me. As a last minute option I used my sonic arrow… it hit. The dragon screeched. It swooped down…

The dragon breathed a hurricane of fire, it sounded like a couple things: a sonic boom through the sky: a heard of wilderbeasts destroying a town.

Writing

At dusk the car accelerated at the garage, drove around the corner hastily and came to a halt at the arcade, revving it’s engine.

At 3am, the dragon landed in the village, crawled towards the school like a ninja, and paused in the hall, eating a tart.

At night, the starship hovered over pie’s house, aimed it’s lazer beams stealthily and fired over pie’s house hitting power line.

The Rainbow Masks

The Rainbow Masks

I wore the yellow mask and saw

The bright yellow bananas swinging in the trees, the golden sparkling stars and a breakfast café spreading serous butter.

I wore the grey mask and saw

A stampede of enormous elephants like a heard of people who are running to catch their plane, small baby pigeon’s feathers flying about in the wind and my grampas hair.

I wore the black mask and heard

The rumbling of a midnight Poseidon shooting by, midnight black cat screaming to get in and a f-14 landing back on the runway.

I wore the red mask and saw

The hot chili peppers sizzling in someone’s mouth, an angry tomato exploding everywhere and a hot fire burning bright and people eating marshmallows.

I wore the blue mask and saw

The planet Neptune shining brightly, a blue whale twirling round and the deep blue sea with all creatures in it.

I wore the orange mask and saw

People playing basketball, a goldfish swimming in its tank and pumpkin’s glowing in the dark.

The Dragon Outrage

This evening there has been a dragon sighted in Woodborough School demolishing the classrooms with its tail and fire from its mouth. Residents from the local area believe that the dragon was released from Crampon Town Zoo. They described the beast as green and red with big yellow eyes. If you see the dragon please report it to the police, army, or the fire brigade immediately. The fire service is currently trying to get the fire under control. If you want to find out more join us later at six o’clock. Remember keep safe and stay put.

Hold fire everyone, we have just had an immediate update that it was the head zookeeper, George Howard who released the dragon on purpose, he has just been arrested by police.

I have never been to the moon, but I have been to Top Shop

I have never – Reuben

I have never been to the moon,

But I have been to Top Shop.

I have never climbed Mt. Everest,

But I have climbed the hill in Wollaton Park.

I have never driven a lamborghini,

But I have rode my bike around Toton Sidings.

I have never fought in World War 2,

But I have fought in laser tag.

I have never been youtube famous,

But I have got 35 subscribers on youtube.

I have never ended this poem,

But I have now.

By Reuben

The WWII poem. By Reuben.

I want to paint – the smell of burning smoke filling my lungs, the taste of sweat on my hungry, exhausted body and the rain patting on my head like a large, kettle drum.

I want to paint – dirty faced people in striped uniform, getting punished by the deadly gas chamber, the vast, barbed wire fence ominously surrounding needy, innocent Jews, the shouting of soldiers as more and more Jews dreadfully tortured with clubs and bats.

I want to paint – the old, wooden cabins, which hundreds of Jews were crammed into, the taste of gas as I fell to the floor.

I want to paint – The end of this war.

I want to paint…

I want to paint…

I want to paint

a colourful, crabby capybara with eyes like bulging black holes, lost in space for eternity,

a eerie electric eel exploring the darkest depths of the devious ocean,

a gigantic jungle bursting with abundant life and the secrets it hides within,

the fiery Phoenix flying through the orange evening air.

I want to paint

the distance between a grouching gargoyle and a majestic unicorn poised magnificently upon its magical cloud,

a mighty maple tree stood alone in a field like a lost loner in a corrupted crowd of strangers,

a green, gargantuan goat who’s horns stand tall against any immense enemy.

I want to paint the smell of the cold of the intense Winter snow,

I want to paint the taste of exotic fruits and the explosion of their flavours,

I want to paint the sound of wild wolves howling upwards towards the mysterious midnight moon,

I want to paint the impossibility of wildfires and the destructive glow of their vengeful wrath.

I want to paint, a decent ending for this.
