I would bring…

a magic atlas to warn you about the deadly dangers ahead between you and the treasure,

a pair of teleportation boots to make your journey easy,

a pack that contains a feast fit for a king that will never run out,

a cape made from a scaly dragon hide to protect you,

a magical pendant crafted from the most skillful faries to guide you when you are lost,

a magical sword that points to which part of the beast you should slay

and an alpha male wolf that will only be most loyal to you and carry magical powers like saliva acid.

As I stumbled into the crumbling castle, a pungent smell wafted into my nose.

A deep, threatening growl  caused the ancient ground to rumble like an enormous stomach shaking with hunger.

I gazed into the inky blackness of the shadows, alarmed to see an eye ,filled with a galaxy of colours, staring straight back at me.

Two pairs of bloodstained claws appeared out of nowhere.

A set of leathery wings adorned with crimson scales swooped in as the monster revealed itself.

Will I ever see daylight again?

You are like a lonely shrimp crawling about in the bay

with no one but the predators that lurk in the shadows.
