Brave Odysseus

Odysseus stood furious after hearing the news .It was freezing cold inside but outside it was as hot as the sun.Soon after, Odysseus looked outside and saw the suitors and saw a dirty smug all over their faces.He saw the angriness on their faces.

He went closer and closer until he could smell the sweat dripping of their tired faces.Soon after Odysseus could hear what they were planning “there is no way an old man could beet us” “agreed “ said the other one.Until they saw a shadow step forward ( it was Penelope). He dripped down with nerves it was scary at first but Odysseus stayed calm.It was time for archery….

As they headed forward Odysseus was as nervous as the suitors until they found their destination. Odysseus shot first but instead of shooting at the board he shot at one of the suitors….”AHHHHH”. As the games went on Odysseus was winning until it came down to the final shot. Up Odysseus stood  and shot his arrow inch perfect. HE DID IT! Odysseus was crowned champion!

As they sat there as family at dinner .

The tragic tales of Odysseus chapter 2

Outside, the wind howled. Inside, the hall glistened. When Odysseus entered the feasting hall he could see dirty spots of the suitors   speckled in his hall.  Outside, the people of Rocky Ithaca were dancing for his arrival. Inside, he could see and smell a feast for him. But the suitors ate from his feast and he did not like it. Odysseus glared at Penelope, who did not recognise him, who did not glare back…..

Chapter 2 bows and arrows

Outside when the sun had barely arisen and Ithaca was so quiet you could here a pin drop,rocks were piers in the sky; the coast was so pitting on to the sand and pebbles.However calm and Fermin was the last way to describe the feasting hall, as Odysseus was about to find out.As he enter Odysseus gazed around what was his but what he still felt a quest in, slowly taking every thing in bit by bit.He saw: suitors drinking wine and eating meat, his weapons hanging of the wall untouched for  nineteen years and Penelope head in her hands sobbing with grief for her long lost husband.This triggered an uncontrollable surge of anger.
Suddenly, he was over powered by the sent of the feast tacking place in front of him-wine dripping from the walls, tables and chairs like blood after a battle were many lives were lost. Then something smashed and the whole hall fell silent, no more drunken sleepy laughter but all he could hear were the weeps and sobs of his pitiful wife, Penelope.But why was she crying when her husband was home  and alive, did she not know?                                                                                                                                   When she saw Odysseus she was becoming him to come over to his bedchamber. As soon as he arrived she said”You are an old man you must tell me what my dream means”, soon I will have to marry one of the suitors but I don’t know who. “It will come to you” the old man said and then left. Penelope decided that who ever could shoot an arrow through the twelve ceremonial axes handles like Odysseus used to would be the one she would marry. When the day came for the test all of the suitors tried and failed. But when the old man tried he shot the arrow through all twelve axes. Suddenly he worried that the suitors would find out he was really Odysseus in descize. As soon as the suitors started firing fury at the old man then Odysseus had no choice but to shoot the strongest suitor. When the battle was done he told his son (Telemachus) his mysterious plan. But want was this plan?

Chapter 2 the fight

Outside, wind whistled across rocky Ithaca as silent. Inside the prestigious palace, Odysseus was being teased for being disguised as an old beggar. Odysseus was heart-broken when he saw his beautiful wife Penelope huddling under a table relentlessly weeping in sorrow and confusion. The man was outraged. He was also livid when the suitors were chuckling uncontrollably not even catching a glimpse of of her sobbing nor not asking whether she was okay . He was furious. He drew his sword and sped towards the suitors slaughtering them all causing havoc and cacophony. Outside, the Rocky landscape was lucid and clean. Inside, fantastic furniture was scattered all across the floor.

Chapter 3 the end ???

Odysseus was beaming with pride and glee. He could see the repulsing remains of the careless suitors. He could smell the repulsive reek of blood. He could hear nothing at all. He was triumphant.

Odysseus

Outside, Odysseus had been trying to get home for 9 years but the day he tried to get back to Penelope it was a dark grey gloomy night charging with thunder. He glanced at the water and decided to go back to the hall. In disbelief he saw mesmerising meat and juicy chicken and over 50 amazed men. Odysseus favourite meal was not there but he had eaten it so many times that he can remember the smell and now he is even more delighted. Astonished they heard a noice not caring one little bit, but as the noise got louder they got so scared even Odysseus! What could it be? They were: confused disturbed and anxious but when Odysseus found out what it was he was petrified.

The creeper

Mrs Peanut said that “ every night we need someone to make sure we are safe because as you all know  the goblins palace has recently been invaded by something .” Bambi Robin and Polly volunteered for the first night.

Outside it was so very cold you could not even see a thing in the thick mist but they carried on trotting even though they wished the could go back home. Inside the willow tree, they knew it would be warm and cozy and that made them want to turn back even more. There was a sound of crunching leaves. Bambi peered over her shoulder to discover a tall silhouette creeping ever so slowly towards them. Robin glanced behind her and only could make out a short stubby goblin. They were in danger.

 

Chapter 2-He saw

Outside, the sun was glistening  on the palace. Inside, the suitors were drinking wine and beer. In the corner of Odysseus’s eye he saw his beloved wife Penelope! Upon the the table were roast beef, drunken men, Also he saw those dreadful suitors. He smelt the burps of the drunken suitors. Odysseus heard a Penelope cry, because she thought Odysseus was gone. Suddenly, he heard the voice of his son Telemachus. He turns around. He saw his son for the first time in 19 years!

The shock

Let me introduce you to Bambi, Robin and Polly. They are all deer that got sent to be alone because their parents sadly passed away  now they all have a room in the willow tree. Wishing to the tree  they would see their parents again they did not understand that they would not see them again. Although, I get why they thought that because this was not any old forest it was enchanted. The willow tree grant wishes and the river flows around it. But the next day everyone got the news from Mrs Peanut the squirrel. What could the news be?!

Podkins escape

When Podkin was outside, he froze ever so slowly, freezing cold, when he heard a snap! Swiftly, the footsteps got louder and louder, as Podkin ran faster and faster! Later, it had turned very dark, so he did not know if he had lost whatever was chasing him… In the middle of the calm night, Podkin then glanced out the hole of the cave and before that, he heard scratching and screeching. Obviously, someone or something was trying to get into the cave! The rocks were knocked down, the beast had got into the cave! Podkin stared into the beast’s beady, fierce eyes as it angrily growled. Podkin had a plan to get out of death, but it wasn’t going to be easy.
