Outside, Odysseus had been trying to get home for 9 years but the day he tried to get back to Penelope it was a dark grey gloomy night charging with thunder. He glanced at the water and decided to go back to the hall. In disbelief he saw mesmerising meat and juicy chicken and over 50 amazed men. Odysseus favourite meal was not there but he had eaten it so many times that he can remember the smell and now he is even more delighted. Astonished they heard a noice not caring one little bit, but as the noise got louder they got so scared even Odysseus! What could it be? They were: confused disturbed and anxious but when Odysseus found out what it was he was petrified.
