All morning, Robert sat miserably staring at the wall while playing with his fingers. However, Haelynn stood, determined to find a way out.
She spent some time at the window, trying to check if she could go through but she was too big.The glass had shattered into little bits so she tried yelling for help but lost hope in the end.The Road was too far away from the house for anyone to hear them. She kicked her foot against the bricks but it wouldn’t budge.
Almost every few hours, Haelynn snapped at Robert.
“If you think slouching will help us you’re wrong! get it together Robert!” However, Robert sat emotionless, now staring at the ground. So, Haelynn kicked at the trying to identify if they were weak. In the end, the door was left. Was there a way of unlocking the door? Haelynn spent a long time trying to unlock the door with her lucky coin, which didn’t work.
Annoyed, she spun round and let out her anger on Robert.
“I can’t do this alone! Can’t you at least try?” Robert lauded his eyes on her.
“It’s no use, no matter what you do, we will never get out of here, not with those ideas.” Robert mumbled.
“But you haven’t tried!” Haelynn yelled with frustration in her eyes.
Haelyen and Robert both sat silent and still. She tapped the floor with irritation. It seemed like she had tried everything and worse, Robert looked like he had lost all hope. Right now, it was almost evening. Inside, Robert had been wondering if ghosts had been lurking around here. The lights were flashing on and off. Outside, it was pouring. Lightning illuminated the night sky.
Just as Haelynn was about to sleep, she heard something. Outside that was a whisper in a bush. A movement. Within a minute they found themselves both peering out. A loud bark echoed and two green eyes twinkled. Haelynn spread her arms out and Quinn nuzzled her hand. “Need some help?” she smirked sitting as close to the window as she could. Haelynn stretched her arm out and turned the key that was on Quinn’s head.
