All I need

All I need…                                                                                                                                                                          It doesn’t have to be a cup of golden pollen from the silver orchid on the tip top of a mountain.                      It doesn’t have to be the tooth of a slayed lightning dragon from south Scotland.                                                It doesn’t have to be the blood of a bronze ocean cat from the Pacific.

It could be a petal of a gold daffodill in a glorious field.                                                                                              It could be a single tear of a newborn baby.                                                                                                                    It doesn’t have to be very special, all I need is something nice.

Nothing too big.

Nothing too big.

It doesn’t have to be
the elegant cherry blossom
tree of angels
or the delicate edging of
a slice of frost
or the sound of waves
lapping on the speckled sand
of Tregonhawke beach.

It could be the metallic
reflection on the surface
of the river
or the rustic, out of
business pasty shop
on the corner
or the twist of music
performed by a dramatic
Orchestra in an Opera house.

Be as supporting as a soulmate;
those tender magicians.
Notice how even a soaked foil
can become a lost soul
when seen in a new light.
Even a homeless cat
can become a courageous tiger.

It could be…

It could be… by Tia 🙂

It Could be a glass plate shattering on the kitchen floor.

It could be a beautiful rainbow in the heat and rainy weather.

It could be a dirty bin in the whole universe.

It could be  a  field of the potatoes that are growing in the yard.

It could be

It doesn’t need to be Antony park or Paris  in the sunshine or rabbets jumping though Antony woods.

It could be a glint of the moon left in space a both, or the sun gloaming in the sun lite.

Sympathy

It doesn’t have to be the crumpled crisp packet. It could be the sound of the amazing crumpled crisp packet that streams in the wind.It doesn’t have to be the barky tree.It could be the old, invinsible  oak tree that never falls over in the old playground…It doesn’t have to be the snow leopard. It could be the white, misty snow leopard roaming the ground at night…It doesn’t have to be the dull light. It could be the dull, fiery light that can burn through anything…It doesn’t have to be the tortoise. It can be the slow, intense tortoise that only needs one lettuce leaf a day.

A basic wish by 𝙋𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙮

A basic wish

It doesn’t have to be
a classic blossom tree with the twigs like waving arms
or a rose as sweet smelling as caramel sauce
or the moonlight howl of a single wolf.

It could be the shiny shimmer of a pepsi max
can twisting and rolling down the road
or the sound of mud as a boot squelches into its heart
or the scent of greasy fast food like salty fries or a cheesy burger
making its way down our lane.

Be mysterious like a magician
find everything like the stories of Sherlock Holmes
Notice the different people around you and who they are
Watch the flowing river become a washing stream of hate.

A poet of the week by Eliza and Isla

On Monday, I stared at the horizon as the sunrise rose from the ruby red morning sky, glistening like the sparkling ocean while seagulls screeched.

On Tuesday, I glared at the gold, blinding sun as it shone in the clear blue sky.

On Wednesday, I adventured through a crystal cave that echoed with promises never to be told, as ombre leaves rustled  messages as they fell.

On Thursday, rainbows shone in the crisp cold snow as they hid behind the clear, cream clouds.

On Friday, the grey clouds haunted me, as lightning boomed down at me from the navy blue sky like a wave of worry.

On Saturday, I gazed at the golden moon as tiny stars surrounded it, shimmering down on me wishing me sweet dreams.

On Sunday, I found a glittering seashell that whispered secrets as the ocean crashed, and the sun set ready for me to start dreaming…

On Monday, I got home and had a pasty before going on xbox and playing rocket league with my friends, and that i did till my controller battery came to an end.

On Tuesday I fixed up a tilley lamp, but while I did that my dog got a cramp.

On Wednesday I played monopoly with my mum and that was when I hurt my thumb.

On Thursday I went on a bike ride to see what in the world I could find.

On Monday I got home and plade my PS4 while having something to eat.

On Tuesday I saw a fat bat eating a rat.

On Wednesday I found  rubbish on my steat.

Walking to school

Walking to  school

On Monday, I touched the frosty car door as it felt like a sharp, spicky icicle stabbing into my hand.

On Tuesday, I found a hidden cave of wonders which was guarded by a manikin monkey.

On Wednesday, I walk to the frozen river and glare at the seagulls as they peck ferociously at the ice and the swerving of the frozen river made your eyes freeze.

On Thursday, I run to the ferry and hear the chains chugging against the water.

On Friday, I felt the cold breeze brush against my skin like a tree waving.
