My Cornish Week

On Monday, I heard the cows in the barn yearning for their breakfast, it was like listening to the usual seagulls begging for Cornish Pasties.

On Tuesday, I went for a walk in the forest, my feet squelching in the soft mud, as the trees happily waved at me, it was as if I were their friend.

On Wednesday, I smelt the salty, sandy sea blowing around in the sunny sky as it sang its morning routine.

On Thursday, my feet touched the soft sand, the rocks were moving around, making room for me.

On Friday, I did the cross country run, my feet filled with more wetness every step I took. It was as if it was raining, but it wasn’t.

On Saturday, I hoped I would get a pasty for tea as I smelt the meaty smell wafting through the house.

On Sunday, I felt the cold breeze smacking against my face.

The night fury

On Monday,I found a dragon

it’s scales were as hard as

rock and rough as an

elephant skin.

On Tuesday,I saw a

dragons tooth laying motionless on the

ground.

On Wednesday,I felt the breath of a

dragon as it stood before me wanting

revenge on the knights that killed the

dragons father.

On Thursday,I studied a dragon egg

holding it I felt the warmth of the

baby dragon in the egg.

Cornwall beating its heart.

On Monday, I sniffed the Cornish air, the aroma of pasties and ocean breeze floating up my nostrils.

On Tuesday, I gazed at the surfers as they glided down their road of freedom, sunlight reflecting a metallic shine on their hair.

On Wednesday, I stroll down the woodland paths with my dog, his fur as soft as the wind as he bounded through the mud.

On Thursday, I listen to the waves crashing against the bay and seagulls squawk against the wind: Cornwall beating it’s heart.

On Friday, I reach a dead alleyway as I hear a scream and I’m lured in…

On Saturday, I reach the edge of a cliff, my hair blowing in the breeze as I gaze at the setting sun, the heavens opening as angels escape.

On Sunday, the fresh frost laid slick on the pavements as I strolled to the nearest Cornish bakery.

Days of the week!

Days of the week!

On Monday on the playground, I could see the tamar river flow as it glistened in the  morning frost.

On Tuesday afternoon whilst walking back from school, I saw a £20 note as it waved at me in the mud as I picked it up.

On Wednesday, I walked across the frosty grass as it crumbled and crunched beneath my boots.

On Thursday morning, I could see a hummingbird perching on our bird feeder as it ate hungrily

On  Friday afternoon, the icicles stood still as the wind blew past them.

On Saturday night,I gazed at the stars as they shimmered in the moonlight hoping to make a promising  wish.

On Sunday evening, the roast cooking in the kitchen was  filled with delicious  flavour.

On Monday,

On Monday, I found an old rusted Cornish bakery that had been abandoned for years because no one came to visit as everyone said his pasties were vile.

On Tuesday, I visited  a crystal clear ocean,

that had been used for surfers and diving skills. It had loads of  miniature fish that never harmed one person.

On Wednesday,I smelt an unfamiliar smell. I asked my mum if she knew and she said she recognised the smell, she took me to a village that was used years ago for Cornish pasties, fish and chips, etc!

On Thursday,I saw out my window from a distance one of the owners on the roof  from the old fish and chips shop that shut down a year ago but it reopened. I was so happy as the new fish and chip shop tasted vile!

On Friday,my mum took me to the most private beach that only 2 people visited. It smelt weird,it smelt creepy, unusual.

On Saturday, my parents took me to the busiest place in town. I felt the walls of the buildings and it didn’t feel like a regular wall. It felt like walls that would have been made years ago,so when I got home I researched and found that they were actually types of walls from years ago!

I found a…

On Monday, I found a old, rusty 2p coin laying in the sunshine.

On Tuesday, I found a disgusting, looks like it has been there for 1,000 years choclate  bar feezing in the ice.

On Wednesday ,I found a destroyed telephone from the 80s drowning in the sea.

On Thursday, I found a tint of rusted iron in the beautiful cave.

On Friday, I found a magnificent rose  streaming through the soft wind.

On Saturday, I found a  battered book flowing through the grass.

On Sunday, I found a shredded seagulls bone berried under the sand.

A Pegasus name dragon

On Monday,I was galloping through the clouds on my Pegasus, she was called Dragon and she was falling asleep on each cloud that were fluffy.

On Tuesday,I rode on my dragon up and out of the earth’s atmosphere! He was called Pegasus. It was as if he was telling me to go to space.

On Wednesday,I rode to California on my pony,he was white and called Jack.I jumped over a garden fence so high it was as if I could fly.As I  jumped the time was running away from us.

On Thursday,I give the cows there food and secretly I give my favourite one extras.She’s always lying down snoring(z z z z z z z z.)

Ruby-red sunset By Poppy

On Monday I found a cornish bakery with the scent of fresh pasties as I walked down the slippery road and icicles hung from the roofs of shops.

On Tuesday, I strolled down to town and found a cardboard box as the fingers of ice float inside, haunting the creature as it comes out; a puppy.

On Wednesday, I found a can on the side of the street as it rolled down the hill and into the small pools of water.

On Thursday, the wind crept into the alleys of the town, howling as the moon came out in front of the clouds.

On Friday, I watched as skaters did their tricks down the frosted road, the ruby-red sunset shining on their boards.

On Saturday, the ocean at Whitsand bay roared and the kids tumbled down underneath the surface of the water and down towards the seabed.

On Sunday, the shimmering sunset shone onto our blue van as it glimmered and rainbows were thrown onto the roof.
