question poem

What are loud? A noisy jet in the cloud, booming party and  blasting with a guitar in a club.

What are quiet? A silent footstep,voiceless talking and a sleeping household.

 

What are soft? A squishy toy brown monkey,soft dog and   mellow bed.

What are hard? An unbreakable red bick, hard solid wood and 

strong powerful gold.

 

What are hot? Balmy hot lava,boiling hot tub and flaming hot pizzas.

What are cold? Freezing cold pool, frosty snow outside in my garden and  chilly fever with ice cream.

What are loud? A boat’s horn, a human’s shout and the sea side.

What are quiet? Being alone, a broken spider’s web and a museum.

 

What are soft? A Squishee, a silky bed sheet and a snail shell.

What are hard? A brick, a break up and a fall out with your best friend.

 

What are hot? Turkey, the sun and ribs of the BBQ.

What are cold? An ice block, Uranus and Antarctica.

 

What are smooth? A baby’s bum, a panther’s black fur and my grandad’s old rug

What are rough? A horse’s mane, a pine cone and a coconut.

What are loud? A lion’s roar like a megaphone, sirens from a fire drill and children screaming in reception.

What are quiet? Lizards crawling on the desert floor, people working in silence and baby birds in their eggs. 

 

What are hot? A Carolina reaper chilli, the scorching and fire when roasting marshmallows.

What are cold? The shade of an iceberg, a full tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream and Antarctica. 

 

What are smooth? The ramps at delta four skate park in Thetford, smooth parts of pathway at Leisure centre and a desk top counter. 

What are rough? The scales on a green dirty crocodile, lego parts hurting my feet as I walk and when I get too hot while playing.

What are loud? A thunderous storm raining hard, people screaming wildly and a slamming door.

What are quiet? Snow falling from the sky, a field mouse eating food and whispering long grass.

 

What are soft? A fluffy toy, a fleece blanket and the fur on my dog.

What are hard? A brick wall, my school desk, where I do my work and making a knot in my tie.

 

What are cold? Icicles hanging from a tree branch, a chilly winters day and mean, upsetting words.

What are hot? The sun`s rays on a summer day, my mum`s iron and a computer that has been on all day.

What are frail? A squabs grey feathers,a stained glass window and a tiny twig laying on the forest floor.

What are tough? An alligator’s tooth, an ancient temple standing high above the jungle and an armadillo’s shell.

 

What are hot? The burning rage trapped inside everyone,boiling geysers spewing scalding water and jalapenos from Mexico.

What are cold? Ice pops melting on a hot Summer day, a narrow ice cave and a magnosteen from Indonesia.

 

What are sweet? The aroma of flowering orchids,the taste of scarlet strawberries and dragon beard candy from China.

What are sour?The feeling of deep regret, a tamarind fruit from Africa and Toxic Waste daring teenagers to try it.

 

What are wet? Frogs emerging from a swamp,leaves dripping with water after a rainy day and rapids splashing and crashing on rocks.

What are dry? Lizards scurrying across the desert floor, walnuts ready to be picked and coal wedged in the side of mines.

What are stupid? A sloth, dymented dog and a flamingo.

 

What are frail? A baby’s first hair, a spider web and a do-do bird’s wing. 

What are light? Rays of light from a torch and a fluffed piece of cloud.

 

What are loud? Frankie the boy in our class, thunder striking and a rocket launching in the distance.

What are quiet? A fan drifting away at night, a mime in France and a jellyfish in the deep sea.

 

What are smooth? A baby’s bum ,a marble floor and a pebble from the Brandon lakes.

What are rough? A nail, when you feel ill and a sting from a bee.

What are solid? An ancient Roman coin, a sharp piece of glass and a tall wooden gate protecting my house. 

 

What are bright? The eye catching, blinding sun shining over country park lake, a big bold television screen and a glaring green oak tree.

What are gloomy? Bleak ashes following the wind, 

A dark dingy day with lightning booming through the sky and a broken relationship.

What are sharp? A Spinosaurus’s tail, a pencil tip after being sharpened and a Roman gladiator’s spear. 

What are blunt? An American wirehair’s tail, felt tip pen lids,and my grandad’s hammer.

 

What are creepy? A floorboard’s creak in a hospital, the myth of the Japanese ghost and your smaller siblings being quiet.

What are adorable? A newborn chick on Easter, the colour baby blue on a blanket and a newborn baby husky.

 

What are empty? The chimney in a Victorian Workhouse, a farmer’s field being planted and Kim Jong Un’s heart.

What is full? The fridge in my kitchen, a box from amazon filled with foam balls and your parents love for you.

 

What are cold? The tip of a Himalayan mountain, the planet Uranus and the dark side of the moon.

What are hot? A toaster while cooking bread, pizza out of the oven and a water bottle left out in the sun.

 

What are sweet? A little boy eating sweets, my brother asking for cuddles and my cat purring for food.

What are sour? A bully’s soul while  bullying a friend, a green apple without its skin and  my favourite sweets.

What are silent? A Tesla Model 3 rolling up to your house,a squirrel climbing a tree and an exam room when they are having a test.

 

What are spongy? A mouldy apple when you left it too long,a freshly made birthday cake and a nice comfy mattress.

What are solid? A lollipop that you took out of the freezer,a grey brick wall and a table wooden leg.

 

What are delicate? My mum’s teapot, a new phone that you just received and your sister’s computer.

What are sturdy? A pavement, a brown rope and a burnt bit of toast.

 

What are bright? The sun shining through,the glistening stars and a light.

What are gloomy? The dark sky at night,a skin on a banana when it’s getting bad and the clouds when  it’s going to rain.

What are fast? An F1 car racing round the track at Silverstone, a KTM dirt bike 250cc and Usain Bolt doing the 100 metre dash.

What are slow? A slimy snail munching on a leaf, a slippery slug eating its food and a slithering snake chasing its prey .

 

What are searing? Bubbling lava from Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii, a drag car after winning a race and a relaxing jacuzzi.

What are freezing? The tip of Mount Everest, chocolate ice cream straight from the freezer and strawberries freshly picked from the bush.

 

What are loud? A baby’s giggle, shotguns firing in the distance and a washing machine on the spin cycle.

What are quiet? Robbers whispering about their heist, snow falling from the grey sky and leaves blowing on the forest floor.
