Chapter 3

At dawn, Captain A.Mahmood handed out the papers and a second later everyone was gone to complete two tasks. One set went searching for necessities to live ; the other went searching for ripe coconuts. Ramsey was alone with the instructions to stay still and keep her mouth shut.

 

It wasn’t long before Ransey was tired. The messy wreck of Haider’s small skyship made her throw up in her mouth. She then realised that she hadn’t seen Tej all night. In fact, he wasn’t on deck either. A quick search on deck showed this.

 

So, she slyly ran away to hide under a palm tree and began running again to the top of a sand dune ; he saw a bunch of palm trees and inside there were lots of shadows. Coconuts rained on the sandy floor. The shining sun sparkled onto the leaves, bees buzzed like a massage chair and she sniffed the scent of coconut water. It smelt like a dirty bin bag, she turned what was that figure moving in between the trees?

 

Quickly and gently, a humongous shape tiptoed forwards. For a moment, she saw a strike of red eyes. It was at that moment as if her body was grabbed by claws and wrapped with wings. Slowly, a throat cleared and said “ Stand with me it is safe.” It was an angelic, soft voice, on the edge of a loud voice, but wrapped with lots of love. Walking towards her, a bear was revealed. Shocked, Ramsey was paralysed with fear but its red eyes helped her go back to normal. Departure was hopeless.

 

Phoenix-bears are very rare. They have the ability to not only fly but to easily retreat from battle. It is lucky that they are peaceful with humans! Ramsey was awestruck that she was reunited with Tej inside a pyramid where phoenix-bears lived. They had been caring for Haider when his skyship crashed.

 

The chief was an amazing phoenix of old age and he warned them “Unicorn-pegasus are near!” Pressing a blue diamond into Tej’s hand, the phoenix queen hissed “You’ll need this!”

 

With the phoenix-bears’ help, the kids took Haider back to the crystal. Captain Mahmood and the crew had appeared, Ramsey told the warning. Quickly, everyone jumped on board… firing the engine, storing food and pushing the ship. They prepared to leave.

 

But they were late.

Zainab and Noor glanced over to the middle of the skyship as the skyship went. Far below they could see fields and could see tiny dots of people and the countryside. They could feel the warm breeze and they could hear the captain shouting. The children were relaxing on the skyship.  Zainab was laughing but on the inside she felt guilty.  I don’t know if it’s safe.

Bob and Billy glared down as The Emirates rose higher and higher each second.  Far beneath, on the rock hard, indestructable floor the group could see a tiny microscopic group of citizens, tiny dots all around the place and mini dots of  people . They could hear a group of people chanting, distant high-pitched shouts and cars beeping like there is a zombie apoclypase.  Breathing in relief the children faced each other exitedly hoping that the sky ship would arrive at its destination in no time . Bob cheered  exitedly, happy to be on an adventure . Bob felt depressed inside and his heart skipped a beat . Is this safe ?

Jess and Kacey glanced in thin air when the cars below drive by the Piyacan. Far below they could see a fast flowing river as fast as a speeding car .They could hear the refreshing cold breeze blowing through the air. Shouting, they could of been shouting “good every body” from below. Jess grinning with excitement for it to be a nice journey . Inside she had floppy butterflies in her tummy she felt like a tooth fell out , but do we know will we be safe?

Amber and Emeraled gazed over the very edge of the sky ship The Glider as the enigine roared across the sky. Down bellow they could see crouds cheering untill right in the end they were just tiny blobs .They could hear cheering crouds,tweeting birds and the warm breeze .  Laughing farewell to the distance the children turned to eachother. Amber grinned exitidly to once again be on a big adventure. Inside her stomach she had butterflies and her heart started to skip a beat.  Would it be a safe journey ?

Abdullah and Ahmed glanced below as the skyship rose up and up.Down below,they could see cheering crowds until the end they were just tiny mass of small dots.They could hear people cheering loudly like a engine from a lambo.Waving down to the cheering crowds,they turned to each other and were laughing. Ahmed was in joy and Ahmed was happy. But in the inside Ahmed was shaking. Would it be safe?

Ellie and Mark  glared down as the ship took off very high over the sky. Far below they could see  a huge crowd  clapping  and shouting.  They could hear birds tweeting and chirping when Captain Cuedew was about to clear his throat. Shouting and Screaming to the crowds, the children talked and whispered to each other. The crowds were waving goodbye  and set off. Mark grinned and was smiling to go on an adventure . Inside Ellie’s stomach thumped , on the inside her heart beat loudly.

 

On the island of Joy

On the island of Joy,

I felt something warm and toasty coming from the whispering winds.

 

On the island of Joy,

I found gold-coins laying in the goey marshmallow spread that were as sticky  as slime sticking on your clean hands that were making them dirty.

On the island of Joy,

I smell roses coming from the field of contente that were sweeter than a sweet fizzing in your mouth.

 

 

On the island of Emotions

On the island of Emotions,

I heard a lullaby with a voice as sweet as my mother’s.

On the island of Emotions,

I saw clouds bouncing in the sunset sky happily.

On the island of Emotions,

I ate a night-shimmerer and it tasted really good like my mum’s baking.

On the island of Emotions,

I smelt flowers as lovely as a perfume.

On the island of Emotions,

I felt the sunset coloured sand slipping between my toes at the beatiful beach.

 

On the island of Joy

On the island of Joy,

I felt the tight wind hugging from the

Cliffs of Cuddles as if there was a human hugging me.

On the island of Joy,

I smelt flowers sweeter than the most

expensive perfume, dancing in the fields of love.

On the island of Joy,

i found a golden-box, night-lighter and Game-holder.

On the island of Joy,

I saw curry drifting in the air .

I heard the wind wooshing in the air waiting for me to dance.
