Esme looked at the portal like something was about to come through. Emerald looked as well and said, “Home.”

Beyond the portal, stars glimmered like floating crystals, the river shined bright like a diamond.

Threw the portal was wondrous, everything was different nothing was normal.

Nature’s request

I glide into the orangy sunrise

as the early morning emerges.

I rest my flickering furry feathers,

As the sky lowers its gaze.

I’m a worm-kidnapper, sky-surfer.

I am nature’s alarm clock,

tweeting in the early hours of the morning.

My yellow-orange fur

glimmers in the afternoon’s kind glow.

My inky eyes

Infiltrate nature’s unwavering beauty.

Eye of the tiger

Eye of the tiger

The wind whistles, as the tiger runs through the forbidden forest.

The ears are like endless caves of death.

The captivating hazel eyes make you speechless, they steal your soul.

The teeth are more death – threatening then a bullet to the head.

Finely it watches the midnight sky.

The secret

Amy had always been curious why the emporium was such a secret. One breezy afternoon, Amy was just taking a stroll down Denson lane when she saw something strange about the emporium. For once, she noticed the door was unlocked and she nervously slipped inside.

Everywhere she looked, it was like a world of wonders and things she wanted to touch. She saw shining rubies in different colors it was like a unicorn that pucked. A mini teddy bear that roared like a  los loch sea monster.A war hat with miniature cannons. On one counter, there was a bowl of diamonds. But what Amy liked the most was a book of dreams where she could see everybody’s biggest dreams.

“I see you’ve found my book of dreams,” hissed a voice. Amy gasped, and put the book down and she looked up at the owner. He was an old crooked man whose eyes were shining like marbles. On his arm was a venous frog but how was he able to hold it?

The secret of evacuation

Emily Starcast didn’t  want  to leave the apartment. She opened the ruby red curtains and stared at the miles of greenery and quickly inhaled all the anger.

Her first day at St Simon and Judes was alright but now it is a distant memory. The teacher is very encouraging and young and she is called Miss Barns. Soon she noticed that  Emily doesn’t know how to spell and read so Miss Barns made her sit on the front row,Emily cried as she read the Oxford dictionary. When the school bell rang, Emily ran like a speeding dragon-fly!

The days turned into weeks and Emily felt more fitted in. She spent her days passing the labels and planting seeds. Each morning, Emily is woken up by the cat tipping things over. Each morning, Emily looked quickly out the window as Mrs Martha tiptoed into the woods. Each morning, Emily wondered what she did… and she couldn’t wait any longer. She snuck out of bed, put on her shoes and crept outside. When she came to the woods, she heard buzz, but not a bee’s buzz,it was louder. Behind the tree, it was Mrs Martha collecting honey. From a giant hive, bigger than the house!

Chapter 2

Victoria stared at Emily. Her pointy spike was like the tip of  Mount everest. Her black stripes are like mini hula hoops. Victoria was as yellow as the pollen from a flower, fountains of honey dripped to the ground. Slowly, the bee flew to Emily and stung her forehead. Emily was in pain. The wise bee backed up into the dark hole in the tree.

As they slowly walked  back home, the stars were like little lights guiding them through the night. ”I found her a few years before the war happened. She was buzzing for food. She must have been very hungry”! said Mrs Martha, “DO NOT TELL ANYONE! She will get taken away and shot dead.”

In the dark night , Emily imagend Victoria’s smooth fur in the desigus woods. Something about the bee seemed to make Emily safe. At dinner, while Mrs Martha isn’t looking, Emily would sneak a plastic bag with crumbs for Victoria. The bee would also hunt, often it was ants, flys, lady and birds. She was a bit scared but she would cope with it.

One night, Victoria let Emily stroke her. Within days, she would search Emily’s coat pockets. Emily changed into a happy mood. She now skipped school.

Over the warm nights, Mrs Martha saw how the bee made Emily happier and their secret bound them together.

The House of Wonder

I stood in a room of captivating crystals,

which danced in the shining moonlight.

I stood in a room of stars,

as bright as the majestic moon.

I stood in a room of lightning,

which felt like a soft persian cat.

Lastly, I wandered into a room of mosquitos,

and when I looked at myself I was like a walking skeleton.

Poems about life.

My excitement is made from-

A child’s excitement waiting for the ice-cream van on a hot summer day,

Like waiting for a caterpillar to blossom it’s beautiful wings,

Waiting for a sunflower to grow and show it’s beauty in the spot-light,

The taste of a piece of candy can take me to a candy heaven.

I found excitement –

Creeping on big fluffy persian cats,

Waiting for the next dentist appointment just for a sticker but it is in December 20th,

Finishing a boring book about scurvy.

This excitement can-

Make a nerd 10x excited for the next oxford dictionary,

It can encourage a baby bird to spread its colorful wings,

It can inspire a depressed person to show confidence.
