The Beeuterfly

The Beeuterfly has been on Earth for over 50 million years. The scientists had thought that it was extinct but really, it was just hiding from The Killer Plant.

The Beeuterflys habitat is any fluffy cloud. As long as it is sunny in that area, regularly, it is perfect for them to live there. They like to live in very grassy places, such as fields and other big, grassy places. Most of the time they will stay on their cloud but they will fly down eventually.

The Beeuterfly is not a predator it is actually prey. The Killer Plant likes to eat them a lot. The Beeuterfly is endangered because of them and now there is only 35% left. Because of this, they live in clouds so no predators can get them. Luckily, they don’t come down a lot so hopefully they will not be.

Moreover, like I said, The Beeuterfly is endangered because 5o million years ago, they all hid in caves to hide from their predators, but that didn’t help. It caused them to die of thirst and starvation. Not to mention, The Killer Plants taking more than they need. On the good side, they have yellow lasers on their stomach that they can shoot out but they have only ever done it to their predators when the wee being attacked viciously.

This species’ diet is mainly fresh grass that they can get from under them but sometimes they have a few daises if there’s no predators. They don’t have many daisies because of The Killer Plants popping up and sometimes they put daisies on them so they can get them easier. They have grass most of the time, on the good side.

The Beeuterflys are definitely not harmful towards humans in any way. If you saw one you could probably stroke it, as they love humans. You can also adopt them at pet shops.

Prologue

Brownie gazed out of the dragonfly window, as the menacing air ship grew closer. She saw a pebbled airship like soldiers charging at their enemies. She could hear the missile being set off like a bottle of fizzy pop exploding after being shaken. Massive cracking and creaking noises came from outside the airship, as the dragonfly was teared apart like a grizzly bear ripping through its dinner. “Leaping lizards, Keith! I’m just a mechanical- save yourself, and not me!”

Chapter 4

Annie slept. She dreamed about the golden sandy beach and the sound of the calm waves drifting in. She stood up and put her feet in the clear water and glanced to the left. There was a crab running at her!

She woke up and gasped. It was blurry until she heard cows mooing and horses neighing. She saw Iris still asleep and Brownie scratching the side of her wood and cinnamon-coloured neck.

“Oh your awake!” exclaimed Brownie. “You need to get ready because we are going somewhere” she added.

“Get up, you need to listen to Brownie and get ready!” yelled Annie, rudely.

Without hesitation, Annie, Iris and Brownie dashed through the field to get to the busy street. They arrived at the old silver air ship and ran in

“We better get going else we won’t get the bear back!” exclaimed Brownie.

They walked around and found something grey and long…

It was the man’s coat! Brownie peaked into his pocket and put the bear in her mouth. Brownie, Iris and Annie scurried out of the airship as the man realized that the bear was gone. There was a special note in the bear, which had a note that showed where Annie’s father had buried money for her when he died. They had got it back!

They ran into an old shed and saw Annie’s father lying on the ground. He was breathing, but he was hurt. Annie rushed over to him and the four walked home.

The sun was setting and they could hear he birds tweeting. Annie was overjoyed to finally see her father again. She sighed happily and smiled.

“I missed you and I was worried.” Mentioned Annie as Brownie was sniffing Keith’s foot. They all walked off into the sunset.

Chapter 3

Iris sighed. “Will we ever get out of here? She groaned.

“Shut up moaning and come help me with this, fat gorilla!” said Annie.

“There is no point! We might as just die here!” complained Iris as she put her hand on her cheek. Annie rolled her eyes. When would this be over?

“You can at least try!” snapped Annie.

“Why don’t we wait until we get help or something?” replied Iris.

“I’m being serious, get up now or I’ll pull you up myself!”

“Fine…” muttered Iris. She got up on her feet and began.

Iris looked around the room. There was a sharp needle on the floor! She picked it up and tried to pick the lock. The needle was too short! They both sighed and thought about what they could do next.

All of a sudden, the girls heard barking. It was Brownie! She slid the key under the door as Annie picked it up. She tried to unlock the door but it wouldn’t work! Iris slapped her forehead as Annie passed her the key. Iris got it unlocked her first try!

“Whatever…” Annie murmured.

Annie picked up Brownie and hugged her. They began running away. They ran into a forest and thought it would be a nice place to stay. They could hear the birds tweeting as they decided to adventure further into the forest. It was getting cold and they desperately needed a place to stay.

Annie stopped in her tracks.  Iris was gone collecting wood for the fire, as it was too cold for the three of them. It was just Annie and Brownie. She began stroking Brownie’s soft, silky fur and inhaled. “Where has father gone?” mumbled Annie. “And who locked me and Iris in that dark room?” They both stared into the night sky. Iris came back started the fire. For now they were safe…

Chapter Two

Annie looked up and spotted her. “It’s Iris!” said Annie. After Iris had comforted her, they decided to go to Annie’s house. They arrived at the manor and stared at it. It was overgrown with ivy, but it was still beautiful. It had poppies and daffodils all over the garden. The door was rusty but the beautiful evergreen tree could take your eyes of it. They walked down the old, cobbled path and everything was different. She couldn’t believe her eyes.

Annie went up to the door and lifted the doormat up. She picked up the key and opened the door. There was a sigh of relief when she opened the door. Everything was where she left it. At the corner of her eye, she was the creaky rusty stairs. She saw the dusty paintings of her old ancestors and was glad to be back home.

They were looking around the house when they found it. “I found it!” Annie yelled. The pair of them gathered around the teddy bear. “Is this it?” asked Iris. “Yes it is!” replied Annie, joyfully. The teddy bear smelt clean. Its fur was silky smooth. They were both happy.

They heard footsteps. Iris’ jaw dropped. “Is that footsteps?” she asked, quivering.

“I think so.” replied Annie.

Iris and Annie took a step back. They looked around, but they couldn’t see anyone.

“Hello children…” said a voice.

They looked down to see a mechanical in the shape of a human! All of a sudden they snatched the teddy bear of Annie’s hands…

Before she could say anything, she heard the old mechanical’s voice say, “I there is something inside this teddy bear and I’m going to find it out!”

A moment later, everything was black. Once they had opened their eyes, they were in the cellar of Brightbridge Manor…
