Chapter 1 -on the run 

Finally,they were ready to leave 

That evening before dinner, a message arrived from a bird huffing and puffing like it was dodging millions of gorms. It said, ‘a trillion of gorms are on their way. Five or six could destroy a little bit of The Warren, but a million could destroy the whole place!’

So it was the three rabbits, Liam,Bella and Oscar who were the chieftains’ children, that would save The Warren. Their Grandad Jon said, ‘okay children,  Liam take this sword your dad told me to give you. This is for when the gorms attack. And Bella, your mum told me to give you this map of The warren, now go! Go!’ A secret  door opened and all the three rabbits went down the tunnel which was like a slide.  

The little rabbits were traumatised as they heard gorms from the top of the tunnel echo down. No one can out live till the day they die . As they realised  the  gorms could catch up Liam, Bella and baby Oscar started off on their journey. Bella tried to make it fun but Oscar’s feet turned into  blocks of ice so they stopped and made a fire and a place to sleep.

Will they be safe for the night or has the Gorm followed them?  

Chapter 2 – Wake Up

Waking up in a snowflake forest was unbearable. The three icy rabbits started to gather their things as Bella looked at the map for a safe location. Baby Oscar was scared to go out because of what happened last night. We were hoping grandpa Jon was okay. The three rabbits were ready to go on the white as a fluffy cloud of snow, but the clouds in this area are grey and dim. The rabbits were off. 

Liam answered “are we going to Goblin Village?”

“What?” Liam gasped, “I know someone.” 

Even though they were alone they felt the breath of a Gorm  breathing down their necks. Baby Oscar was scared just to turn around. Bella holds Oscar’s hand and gives her the map and says, “The Goblin Village is just up this hill”. 

The three cold and hungry rabbits were at Goblin Village and a goblin spotted them which turned out to be Bella’s friend.

Chapter 3-The end of the road 

Finally, baby Oscar was warmer after all of that. Liam looked out of the window and he asked Bella if this was okay. Bella looked out the window and saw Goblins screaming and  running away from something. They saw the Gorm! The three rabbits ran away and could see a cave straight in front of them.

The three rabbits run to the cave.The Gorm only caught a glimpse of them. Baby Oscar was holding on to Bella as Bella ran with Liam in front leading the way. The three rabbits arrived at the cave. Bella and Liam found a place to sit and catch their breath . Baby Oscar sat down with them even though he didn’t run at all. 

Baby Oscar was pulling on Bella like something was wrong. She woke up and the Gorm was in the cave. The rabbits got up and ran.The cave was like a maze, round one corner  then another. Crash! The three rabbits hit a wall. They tried to escape but the Gorm was in  the way. They were captured! 

 Will they escape or will they be trapped…                                                                                                                                  

Chapter 4 – The exit of The Gorm

“Liam wake up, wake up please,” Bella said frantically. Liam gets Bella up and brings baby Oscar by his side . All they could see were rabbits, goblins and badgers and the smell was  horrid. 

“It smells like someone has died in here,” said Bella. Someone probably had as you could hear all kinds of strange noises outside.

The rabbits looked around just in case there was a loose vent or a little hole they could escape  through . They saw  a loose vent and decided that they would wait for the Gorm guard to leave . As they make a break for it, the three rabbits can finally see the white snow so they jump down and run into the woods. 

They walked past things and places that they recognised and they realised that they were near their old warren.  The three rabbits  ran  as fast as they could with so much joy.  The rabbits looked around  to see who in their family had survived. Sadly, in the rubble, they could see their parents. They frantically grabbed their paws to see if they could save them, luckily, they were just in time!

How to look after  a baby elf 

Have you  just been given a baby elf  to look  after ? Are you  wondering how  on  such  a precious creature ? fear not . read  these instructions and you will be able to enjoy your pet and have the pleasure of watching him develop healthily.

What you need

If you have not got any sleep then I have got your back. I am your handy instructions on all you need to know. You will need a hammock, food, a swimming pool, water, chocolate and plenty of kindness.

First, your new elf is probably scared so let it in slowly.

Next, let your elf calm down and get it a bed and a blanket so he can sleep and calm down.

Then, go over and give him a fishing rod as it likes to go fishing.

Also, some elfs like to live outside and you need to give it 5 meals a day.

After that, make sure your garden can not be accessed by any dogs or cats.

Later on, before they go to bed give it warm milk and cookies.

Finally, if your elf is not going to bed then play some music and it will slowly go to sleep.

Your elf will try to break your house that means it is ready to go back to the wild. But it will make a tunnel to your house to his family.

Last week, Tom Batts, 16 years old, saw three unicorns forging their home , in Walnut Close.

Tom, who loves unicorns, was gathering firewood when he heard the sound of almighty footsteps. He told an informer that when he pushed through the trees he could see three flying unicorns each with a blue, sparkling horn on its forehead! Tom went on to tell us that he soon realised that they had to be a species of flying unicorn.

When the Tale End Informer interviewed Tom yesterday he told us that he was still feeling very excited but also a little bit anxious. She quoted to us, “unicorns and flying horses are very rare to see so seeing three of them up close was amazing!”

Woodland police have warned all locals to be careful when walking in the forest and to report any sightings or unusual sounds. Local unicornologist, Dr Cedar, told us that they are under threat and that everyone should alert the authorities as dragons, trolls or ogres are often found following these wonderful creatures.
