Nature Dragon Report

Dragon Report

Have you ever seen a Nature Dragon? They are different to other dragons as they are very friendly and are much loved by humans. Nature dragons are rare to see as they live in scarce and deserted places.

The main feature of a Nature Dragon is its eyes. They are bright green and look like leaves from an aged chestnut tree. Some Nature Dragons have wings the colour of autumn but others can be a faded teal. Regardless of their colour, all Nature Dragons camouflage into their surroundings. This allows them to weave in and out of weeping willows without being seen. Furthermore, their scales are a pale turquoise and are shaped like small pebbles. Nature Dragons teeth are as smooth as polished diamonds that glitter in the sunlight.

Almost all Nature Dragons live in deep untouched forest that are coated in wildlife. They live here in the summer months but nobody knows where they hibernate in the winter. Generally, they swoop over murky caves and sunflowers that never end. If you would like to see a Nature Dragon you should climb up to the tallest tree you can find and wait. They may take a while to appear as they like feeling they are alone.

Do you know what a Nature Dragon does? In fact, several of them protect the oldest hazel trees all over the world! On the other hand, a few also scatter all kinds of seeds behind them as they are desperate to keep the world of wildlife in optimum condition. Surprisingly, all Nature Dragons enjoy prancing from stone to stone over vast lakes in the winter months. Many people believe that they do this to preserve their body heat.

Did you know Nature Dragons are the mother of all nature? They have been chosen to have this special responsibility as other dragons are too hyperactive and rough for the job. Unsurprisingly, their favorite food is a bunch of clovers which they eat twice a day. The most important thing to remember is, Nature Dragons are calm and friendly so do not be frightened if you happen to meet one.

Dragon report

There are many types of dragon but the most unusual is the Ice and Fire dragon. As you might have guessed, this dragon possesses the qualities of both ice and fire. In fact, these creatures are the most dangerous in the world!

Unfortunately, this dragon is so quiet that you hardly know it is coming. You can tell it apart from other dragons because they have huge red and blue wings. These allow them to glide and swoop in and out of forests hinting for their prey! Surprisingly, they have long sharp crystal-blue blade-like thick scales, which they use to protect themselves like wetsuits whenever they swim in the sea. On the other hand, some have been seen to have light teal scales. Also, all Fire and Ice dragons have a jet black, long thin tongue covered in ash. It is understood that when they eat their prey their tongue is used to cook it inside their mouths. Generally, the dragons breathe lightning when angry and ice when calm.

Typically, these Fire and Ice dragons live and hunt in the surrounding fields of the most active volcanoes. In fact, a few actually live on the volcanoes themselves, providing that they are not active. Although Fire Dragons have thick scales, they do not enjoy a full lava bath. Sadly, lots of people hunt them for the scales but luckily their ability to turn themselves invisible provides them with an advantage. When this happens, even the most experienced dragonologists would struggles to catch a glimpse of them when they hide. Quite extraordinarily, Fire and Ice dragons have been known to eat human beings whilst their beverage of choice is lava.

Many people believe that Fire and Ice dragons swoop in and out of trees in thick forests where they are not likely to be seen as they are very shy. Additionally, some of them have been known trained to assist the RAF and the Navy in battles which take place in the sky. But like most dragons, Ice and Fire dragons have an enemy which is the Cloud dragon. In fact, they have been seen having dangerous and vicious fights. On the top of their head fire and ice dragons have two long hollow horns which they use to blow out of to make an ear drum splitting noise.

If you wish to see a Fire and Ice dragon then you should go to the top of the Himalayas and wait for a sudden change in the weather. If it suddenly started snowing really heavily then you shall see one. But you should NOT be seen by them as they will EAT YOU UP!

The Star Dragon Report

The Star Dragon Report

Typically, the Star Dragon’s are extremely large but not that harmful. No one has actually seen one as they come out at night. There have been photos of them from satellite and their population is rising because of that. I know I would like to see one but would you?

Amazingly, their scales are brighter than the sun with a glimmering point as the first Star Dragon was born in the sun making it brighter than it was going to be. This does make it more visible and vulnerable because of its golden colour. However, they don’t have to use their wings so much as they have one of biggest wings in the whole of dragon history. Surprisingly, their eyes are made of crystal clear diamond and glowing gold with a wink of smashing silver. This dates back to when they had a battle with the Jewellery Dragon’s and got dazzled by their treasures. You can hear their roar from a thousand miles away as their brothers are the Loud Dragon’s. The Star Dragon is able to adjust stars into the midnight sky but makes a cloud of smoke while they are doing it. Know you know what they look like and a bit of history but I have to tell you where they live.

The Star Dragon’s favourite place to snuggle up into a nice  sleep is obviously the MOON! But never ever wake a star dragon. They will roar so loud it will deafen you and they will throw you down to earth so you cannot ruin another one’s naps. The best place to meet one of these big creatures is when they are playing about on the planets and when they are stretching their perfect paws. They love it when they are shooting around the stars having a fresh breeze of air powering into their face like a rocket taking off, so make sure you don’t interrupt, as you don’t what to know what happens if you do.

Here’s a few facts if you want greet one!

  • They hold record of making the smallest stars in Dragon History so congratulate them
  • Their best friends are the Moon Dragon, the Planet Dragon and the Night Sky Dragon
  • Their one of the most active Dragons
  • Unfortunately more and more are dying year by year

So make sure you follow these rules if you want to see one!

Dragon Report

Dragon Report.

Out of all the fascinating species of dragon, from the Deadly Space Dragon, to the Miniature Flower Dragon, the most intriguing is probably the Molten Lava Dragon. The reason for this is its flaming personality.

This red, winged mischievous dragon is always on fire, in name, and in nature! In fact, it can even light up the tips of its flaming red feathers! Many witnesses of this feisty fire demon have declared that it is the size of an Asian Elephant, but according to recent discovery, it is only the size of a domestic cat! Also, their eyes are empty, and black as smoke, but their personality is on fire! Typically, the Molten Lava Dragon is a small, feathery flaming red dragon with a long thin tail and large black wings. The reason for its jet black, leathery wings is so that at midnight, when prowling about, its wings cannot be seen. Why would it not want its wings to be seen? This is one of its many techniques to get a good nip at human blood. It pretends that it is injured, with no wings, so that humans come closer to investigate this tiny, yet extraordinary creature. However, they are yet to find out that this creature is not bleeding, but is about to make them do the same. The Molten Lava Dragon may be tiny, but it is full of mischief. Many are capable of almost everything, given the title of the world’s smallest dragon, so they can squeeze into small gaps. Interestingly, these creatures are slightly bird-like: they have feathers, quite a slim snout and very big wings compared to its body. Their pitch black eyes may be a dull colour, but they are the shape of the full moon, and can turn into laser beams! This creature has webbed feet and thick, protective feathers: perfect for swimming in lava!

Where can you find a Molten Lava Dragon? The Molten Lava Dragon lives in places where it is almost impossible for humans to find them. According to popular belief, it is just good luck, and that it does not know anything about hiding from humans, but apparently, these dragons have also taken the title for the worlds cleverest dragon. This was discovered when some elderly couple were having their dinner in their garden, and a whole army of Molten Lava Dragons zoomed into their garden and began ricocheting off the walls, serpentine bodies flailing, and setting everything on fire. This was smart, because there were security cameras all over the walls! What Dragonologists are trying to discover, is how they did it! You can also find them in volcanoes. This is an extremely popular habitat for Molten Lava Dragons, as it is luxury! Hot lava to bathe in, rocky ridges to nest on, sheltered alcoves to lay eggs in, plenty of tunnels leading to the supply of igneous rock…all ticked off inside volcanoes. However, some of the most important, or popular, Molten Lava Dragons live at the very centre of the Earth. Too hot for humans, their sharp minds bounce happily in their skulls at the thought that they were safe and cosy, nestled in the soft soil and lava, and above, the other dragons flap around, vacantly, trying to keep their nests stable in waterfalls, the hot sunshine burning their scales.

What are the Molten Lava Dragon’s purpose? Molten Lava Dragons only really have two purposes. 1. To take care of all the volcanoes and lava. 2. To cause destruction. The second reason isn’t really useful to mankind. It is just a problem. Their absolute favourite is their amusing game of hiding inside a Catherine Wheel and zooming into the sky. Once fifty feet up, they nose dive back down and spit lightning at the crowd of people watching the fireworks. Although it may not seem fun, the Molten Lava Dragons consider it an honour to be asked to do this by their leader. Typically, they have long jet black tongues, which they can stretch 20, 0000 feet up. This gives them the ability to frighten people by worming their tongues up out of the ground and licking them.

The main worry is that just a few days ago, a group of Dragonologists discovered that underground, at the very heart of the world, lies the leader of all the Molten Lava Dragons. Apparently, this dragon is as big as a humpback whale! They said that it looked just like the others, except that it had a golden breast and was much larger with jagged teeth like tent pegs.

Frost Dragon

Frost Dragon

There are many different types of dragons, big, small, powerful or week and they can be found in many different places too.

Today I will be taking about the Frost Dragon. Typically, Frost Dragons only live in the most snowiest of places (mainly Antarctica.) This Frost dragon has found to have a highly severe allergic reaction whenever it sees the sun, so there is only one habitat for these dragons and that’s in deep dark caves.

Is this creature dangerous?

Amazingly Frost Dragons can be tamed and be kept in captivity. Although if they are found in the wild they can be very dangerous. They are very protective animals; especially what they are protecting their young. When trying to defend themselves or their young, Frost Dragons will make a loud hissing noise meaning, “Back off, this is my territory!”

What is Their Personality?

Frost Dragons might be big and strong but not so much on the inside. Frost Dragons can be scared by many things and they are very sensitive, so if you ever come face to Face with one just be careful not to scare it.

Would you be Able to Spot a Frost Dagon if you saw one?

Frost dragons look very different to from most dragons, they are a smaller type with huge wings and often have frost trailing down them. The colour of their skin is a light blue with white highlights. If they ever see a person they don’t know they will curl up in the snow so you can’t see them.

I hope this article teaches you more about the Frost Dragon!

The Solar Array (all 4 parts)

 The Solar Array

In the year 3021 Earth was getting crowded so Jack and Isla were chosen to venture into the solar system to find a new world to live on. Why they picked two children is unknown…

Part 1

On board Jack and Isla were looking around. They were already in the air; the rocket full of fuel powering them along was above their heads connected by ropes a metre thick. Isla blinked her sky-blue eyes, Black, her very much white wolf friend, was beside her and Jack’s long figure was climbing the rigging to watch their world shrink to the size of a beach-ball as they got further and further away.

Jack felt a jerk and thought that they were just nearing Mars (which has three times the amount of gravity as Earth) but a moment later Isla came into the gallery; where Jack was attempting to cook, with a troubled look on her face ”Are these aliens good or bad?”

She grabbed Jack by the wrist and with surprising strength, pulled him to the outer deck. There were silver saucers with green silhouettes at the windows. He had read the book of Space Identification and knew Isla had been flicking the pages pretending to read it but had actually been listening to music with her headphones on. Jack recognized the symbol these were the Algedar aliens, they were notorious for pillaging ships and space travel (they had been to Earth once). The jerk he had felt earlier was the metal line coming from the largest of the ships, and without thinking he detached the walking line from the spaceship. He ran to the control room and checked the cameras; one of the saucers was right beside the fuel hatch to the rocket, he could make out green hands reaching for the handle and he watched in horror as the fuel drained out. But hang on a moment was that Isla climbing the ropes? It was, but even stranger, Black was on her back. Isla shut the hatch and Black fought the aliens.

But the loss of fuel could not be helped. As Isla came into the control room Jack steered them towards the nearest planet that did not actually show up on the radar. It was a crash landing as in the last ten metres the fuel really did run out. As they ran out, they were so dazed that they forgot to put their breathable masks on. They had found a new world, and as they were unable to contact Earth (the radio transmitter had broken in the crash) this strange but breathable world would be their new home…

Part 2

As they came back to consciousness, Isla and Jack realized that this new world, or at least this part of it was very much like a tropical rainforest that you could find on Earth. A few months back Isla had been to the Amazon rainforest, and she remembered that there the air was thick and her sweat made her shirt cling, though here the air was easy to breathe, and if anything she was slightly cold. When Jack looked at the still slightly smoldering sky ship a look of despair planted itself on his face. Isla caught his expression and she no longer wanted to look at the sky ship but she had to.

Black was the one who nudged her to look at the sky ship, she studied it carefully, the satellite dish was smashed, some of the iron had crumpled even though it was half a metre thick, the engine was unfixable at least for her and Jack, the tracker was in shards but worst of all there wasn’t even a drop of fuel. The only upsides were that they could access food and water in the pantry, and they could still access their cabins.

Jack grabbed the translator from his pocket and tugged at Isla’s hand, he explained his plan to Isla that they would go into the forest to look for the Alpokka tribe of aliens that travelled the solar system non-stop. Isla agreed as Jack explained that they were traders that would surely help them if they showed the aliens the ruby’s they had in case they had to bribe themselves out of trouble (which was pretty much what they needed).Isla had the idea to leave a rope trail behind them so they would be able to get back. So they set off with a plan. Half an hour later, after they had walked a mile or two, they reached the camp of the Alpokka aliens and were greeted with curiosity and interest. Midway through conversation they all heard a loud bang! Smoke filled the air…

Part 3

A sticklike figure was crawling through the smoke, they recognized the figure as Barnaby Stuart. He was spoiled and since he had been turned down for being part of the crew of the Solar Array, he had been even more desperate to find the new world, so he got his parents to buy him a sky ship, though it was smaller than the average and didn’t have enough fuel to even get to Venus. He was injured and Isla knew how to heal people, though Jack had to convince her to heal him, as she had still not forgiven Barnaby for being so mean to them. Among the many books Jack had read, The Book of Convincing was among them and even though his deep brown eyes were not at all like a puppy’s he had mastered it.

By now the Alpokka aliens were confused, Isla’s fury had showed; her dark brow furrowed stubbornly, and her hot cheeks had practically glowed. As her eyes returned to their normal natural blue, they realized that during this episode her eyes had gone a fiery red. Deciding that Isla was some sort of threat they bowed down to her, hoping that she would not harm them. At this peculiar action Isla said We mean no harm’’ though it was Black who had put it into Isla’s mind. They could read each other’s thoughts! They all went to bed, safe.

Part 4

Isla had awoken from a nightmare; she was drenched in sweat. She tossed, turned, and tried to get back to sleep; but she was wide awake. Black was still asleep peacefully, so Isla walked out of the tent, out of the camp and followed the rope back to the skyship. As she reached it, the door was off its hinges, but she didn’t think too much about it. She went in. A hand was clamped over her mouth. She looked up at the face of the mysterious person. Phew it was Jack! But at that moment the door slammed shut!

In the half light of Islatorch, they knew that they were in the emergency room, they also knew that they were trapped as the bolt rattled. A wave of tiredness hit Isla as she sunk to the ground. The rain trickled in through the door and gave Isla an idea. She grabbed a pickaxe from the shelf and tried to hack through the iron, though it was still too strong. As she slumped back into the clothes behind her, the spacesuits fell away revealing a backup control panel.

No one had told them about this. Seeing itJack barged past; he knew how to control the ship. Isla indignant from being pushed aside, looked at the cameras. The Alpokka aliens were filling the rocket with fuel having successfully captured herself and Jack. In a while they had steered the ship to Earth, where the air-force would deal with the evil aliens. They knew that they would easily be able to go back and find Black and Barnaby now that they had navigated the route to the new world and an exciting future of exploration lay before them.

The Spark Dragon

The Spark Dragon

There are many breeds of dragon and one of the most unique is the Spark Dragon. Very little is known about this dragon as it camouflages so well that only a handful of people have ever seen them.

Would you be able to recognize a Spark Dragon if you saw one? They appear to be a cross between Electric Shocker Dragons and Fire Dragons. Like most dragons, they have large wings, a cat-like body, razor sharp teeth and spikes along their backs. Typically they are yellow, orange and red (fiery colors). However a couple have been spotted that are firework colors, this means that they have been raised by Firework Dragons. Furthermore, they have startling eyes with flecked pupils and wings that spark as the dragon flies. The main feature of the Spark Dragon is the sparking flame it breathes.

No one actually knows where the Spark Dragon lives during the winter months. It is thought that they live among power stations to increase their energy levels. If you want to see a Spark Dragon, then on Bonfire Night you should light a sparkler and be incredibly still and patient. If you are lucky, they might be attracted to the light.

Are Spark Dragons dangerous? Many people believe they they are because these dragons supposedly cause major electric sparks, shocking anyone within five meters. Several adults have disappeared after seeing a Spark Dragon. It is believed that they were working in the power station when they came across a Spark Dragon, the dragon must have blown its fire at the workers and turned them into sparks! So if you want to track or get near a Spark Dragon then you must be careful!

The Cloud Dragon

Cloud Dragon

Intro

There are many breeds of dragons but in the latest research, it was proven that cloud dragons are the most distinctive breed. Very little is known about this breed. They camouflage amazingly well with other clouds during sleeping time, which is only once a month!

Habitat and migration

Cloud Dragons typically live in the sky and rarely ever sleep. It is believed that they migrate before winter to Cloud Kingdom as their body temperatures are not very stable in cold conditions. However, Clouders (adult Cloud Dragons) are able to withstand brutal temperatures for up to 3 Hours before they return to the Kingdom to rest. Some teenage dragons eat the Cloudlings to give themselves more control over the weather.

Recognition

If you are lucky enough to meet a Cloud Dragon, you should know that they are very dangerous because if they don’t like you, bad weather will come and they will shoot bolts of lightning at you. It is very rare to see one in flight, they use their horns to move the clouds as they do not like to be seen. Did you know a way to tell a Clouder and a Cloudling apart is that only Clouders have icy blue horns and cloudlings don’t? Cloud Dragons can actually shoot rainbows from their tails and if they are happy they will leave good weather behind. You may think that snow and hail comes from normal clouds but actually when a Cloud Dragon is happy it cries snow, and when it is sad, it cries hail. Thunder only comes when the dragons are hungry. It is always unhappy if it does not get food so it creates a storm. Only Clouders are able to control where they shoot lightning form their feet.

Eggs

Cloud dragons eggs are very clever as they float in the air until they are ready to hatch. After a week or so, the egg drifts to the North and explodes in a cloud of rain. Usually, a majestic Cloudling will appear, sending out cloud signals, searching for its mother. There have been a few known to drift the wrong way. This means that when they explode, the dragon is very weak and can take up to three years to control the weather.

Dangerous or not?

These flying beauties are only dangerous if they want to be. For example many have been known to go missing after hunting for these dragons. A girl from New York has tamed a Cloudling. She approached the creature very calmly and fed it its favourite food: a lightning sandwich with rainbow juice on the side. Sadly, despite their power, poachers have hunted thousands of these poor creatures and sold them, claiming them to be models rather then living creatures. In 2019, this led to them being recorded as an endangered species. However, there is still some hope that these creatures will survive. Fortunately a breeding programme in Australia has opened especially to save this amazing animal.

Moon Dragon Fact File

K=kind

V=vicious

.                                            ATB=addicted to balloons

Out of the many breeds of dragon existing, the Moon Dragon is one of the smallest and most magically gifted dragons in the world! Despite the fact that it is not a dragon at all, but a relative of a hidden species; unknown.

Strangely, the Moon Dragon is either vicious, kind, or addicted to balloons. You can only tell this in an adult dragon by the number of black stripes on it tail: one is kind, two is addicted to balloons, and three is vicious.

Therefore, if you come across a Moon Dragon youthling, throw it a bone and see what it does.

K: would hug it

V: would turn it into sawdust

ATB: would glance at it and turn away again.

The Moon Dragon lives in small burrows underground, sleeping in the day and hopping on an owl in the evening for its more preferred dinner of dewdropped grass and store-bought hedgehog food, to prepare for its nightly party with its friends.

These parties would 100% positively include disco lights, and Moon Dragons LOVE disco lights. The first dragon to see a yellow one would hiss and erupt in a burst of confetti before reforming in space.

In the first hour of the Moon Dragon’s life it will levitate up to the Moon at the furthest height of 10cm before dropping and levitating again in search of its mother.

Its mother would look exactly like a youthling if it weren’t for the red tail, black stripe/stripes and tiny bat-like wings on its back. It will wait on the Moon for its child to appear.

Hunting Moon Dragons is illegal.

The Bax Dragon

The Bax Dragon

There are many different breeds of dragon but one of the most unusual is the Bax Dragon. The Bax Dragon is crossed with a bat and a fox. They are very rare because if you eat their brain you’ll never die so people usually hunt them down.

Would you be able to recognise a Bax Dragon if you saw one? In fact they are very similar to bats just much bigger. Typically, they are a beautiful black colour. Amazingly, this could blind you if the moonlight shone on them. However, one woman called Jane Fleeble spotted one with white ears and tail tips and a white stomach like the moon. The main feature of the Bax Dragon is that it can make a horrible sound that can rob animals and humans of sight, hearing, taste and touch. This gives the Bax Dragon more power; without this power they would be incredibly vulnerable.

Are the Bax Dragons dangerous? Many people believe they are because of their powers. Children and adults disappeared after seeing the Bax Dragon, and no one knows how. Anyone who touches the Bax Dragon will instantly freeze, and only the Bax Dragon they touched originally can unfreeze them. If you wish to see the Bax Dragon, then you should hide inside a damp cave, and if you want to survive you should bring some mice, rats, birds or even a deer. When they arrive you would have to be very careful giving them the food you brought. Once you have given them the food they will be distracted so no harm shall come to you. If you visit this place often then the Bax Dragon will start to recognise you and will protect you from any danger.
