The Airship Tragedy 2

As Captain Spooner tightened the ropes of the skyship, Allan sat tightly on the wooden planks watching the beautiful serengeti down below. Buffaloes, antelopes and elephants all migrated towards the north. Kevin, on the other hand, had gracefully dozed off in the captain’s cabin snoring loudly. As they landed near the watering hole, Allan grabbed his flask and scooped up the sapphire water. The leaf of the banana palm shaded Allan and Captain Spooner. Suddenly, in the distance they could see an injured animal grazing near the kapok trees and baobabs. Putting his hand over his eyes, he blocked the streak of light hurting his eyesight and saw the animal properly.

“ It’s an okapi “, stated Allan worryingly as he bolted over towards the wounded animal.

“ What’s going on? “, groaned Kevin drowsily as he slouched on the long grass barefoot.

They carried the animal to the skyship and gently tended to its wounds. Allan rummaged through the whole airship to find the bandages. Captain Spooner turned on the engine and within seconds they took off to the sky. Kevin slowly stroked the poor animal. Meanwhile, a storm was brewing in the horizon and by an hour the whole sky had been covered by dull, black clouds and a stark blue thunder bolt tore the sky. Thick mist engulfed the whole airship and nobody could see a thing. Suddenly, the airship slowly descended to the ground…

The Airship Tragedy

Abruptly, the eerie clouds swooped heavily shattering the ramshackle airship. The squally winds howled so violently that Captain Spooner’s moustache danced with the unpredictable rhythm of the hostile wind. Below them stood staggering rocks at immense sizes so high that they poked the foundation of the skyship. Suddenly, the wind blew even louder that the weary blanket slowly tore. It was not long before the whole airship was engulfed by the sheer size of the grey clouds and the lightning ripped the sky like a child opening his birthday present. A stark blue thunder bolt struck the nearby cliffs as a huge boulder tumbled down the jagged terrain and then sunk in the deep blue ocean.

Captain Spooner stumbled around the airship as it lurched from side to side. An enormous storm was brewing on the horizon as the blanket tore fully and the airship slowly descended to the ground. Within seconds the skyship had crashed on the rocky surface of the cliffs.

As the injured old man lay on the moist wet mud he groaned as he tried to ascend himself to walk but couldn’t. Soon after Captain Spooner had surveyed the area and picked anything useful from the crash site. He began to bushwack through the dense rainforest nearby in hope to find civilisation. He swung his machete on and on as his arm began to turn numb due to how long he was bushwacking for. Suddenly, he fell on the wood chipped floor. Blood drooled out from his body. Soon his eyes closed and darkness filled his head…

I would take

. I would take a pronghorn antelopes antler to bushwack my way through the dense forest.

. I would bring a wizards enchanted staff to cast spells on those who are mislead.

. I would acquire a cursed necklace beaded with horn tail dragon teeth as well as their formidable tail spikes.

. I would equip with me a large, slender elephant tusk to stab through the heart of the foul creatures of the land.

. I would wear the finest armour in the land forged by titanium and St Helen’s lava to decrease the chances of me being mauled to death.

The Tundra Unicorn

Tundra Unicorns :

Do you like fantasy ? Well this is the story for you. In this report it will tell you all you need to know about these magnificent creatures. It will also tell you how to act around one if you ever do stumble across one.

Appearance :

These majestic creatures are made out of solid rock and pebbles due to their ghastly appearance. They have cobblestone, sandy wings to make them fly in the crisp airs of the tundras. The most noted feature about them is their enormous stalagmites hanging from their wingspan to their crusty backs. They also have curved spiraling horns similar to buffallos. Alternatively, tundra unicorns have a rocky, forged body which includes humongous wings the size of a small car and enormous stalactites hanging from its body. Scientists call it the Living Cave.

Habitat :

Tundra unicorns tend to stay in wet mossy caves since they do not like to be seen and prefer to be solitary. On top of that, they also enjoy splatting around in rock pools or coves which they find on the beaches near rural mountains. The terrain they prefer to live in is damp and cold with short, green grass and hard, grey rock with cracks in them. Scientists argue that some might even hang around in deep crevices or even old ancient ruins of castles which stood there centuries ago. But most are found in high, freezing mountains or tall hills.

Diet :

The tundra unicorns take huge pleasure in eating anything that dares to slither around their deadly environment. However, they consume mostly slugs or even dall sheep. This is because there are not many options of what to eat in its environment. In that case, it is forced to be a carnivore. It is truly a beastly creature.

Behaviour :

These creatures are very aggressive towards humans because simply they’re carnivores as I have mentioned before. They are territorial animals and do not like anyone to be trespassing around their areas. As for other animals they will either eat them or fight them for territory. Expert scientist Umar Adam Ahmed said that during mating season the males will compete with duals and whoever wins will get the females.

How to act around one ?

If you do encounter one in the wild while hiking in the mountains then follow these brief instructions. Don’t try to intimidate them, they will just wallop you like you wallop an ant. Instead, try and distract them by throwing a stick at a far distance while you escape or cautiously place your hand across your face and crouch to the ground and fake cry. Yes, I know that sounds ridiculous but that’s science.

Ending :

Well that’s the end of this report and remember to follow what you have learnt in this report. Also, you should make sure that you read this a couple of times to memorise it so you can survive if you encounter a tundra unicorn.

Where do ideas come from ?

Find them in a kingfishers nest,

Taste them in a mangos sweetness

Gather them in the tall canopy of the baobab trees,

Rummage for them in a trees leaves

Drink them in a shallow lagoon,

Chase after the mischievous baboon

Collect them in a hornets nest,

See them in ancient ruins with a treasure chest

Observe them in a magnificent waterfall,

Find them in a jungle full of wander

You could find them in the hungry belly of a bengal tiger or the sharp claws of a panda.

Question Poem

What is scary ?

A werewolf howling in a near woodland, a black widow crawling in your gutters and a killer clown stalking you at night.

What makes you happy ?

A funfair at Hyde Park, a scrumptious birthday cake and a rim of pale pink on the horizon at sunset.

What makes you sad ?

A rainy, dismal winter day while wearing tight wellies, a long journey to Birmingham and a family relative dying.

What makes you feel embarrassed ?

Participating in a school assembly, standing in the spotlight and when your mum kisses you in front of your friends.

What is lonely ?

The wilted petals on a dead flower, the autumn leaves sitting on the floor and a single man.
