What are?

What are loud? Drumming drumsticks having fun and making noise.

What are silent? Maps meeting marvellously in an atlas.

What are hard? A pebble poking you at the beach through your towel.

What are soft? Cute fluffy ducklings learning how to swim.

What are heavy? Cars carrying supplies for camping.

What are light? Lovely leaves dancing in the summer breeze.

What are cruel? People saying mean words to each other.

What are kind?  Asking someone to play when they are down.

I’ve never

I’ve never visited playful Paris but I have been to excellent Easebourne.

I’ve never walked to marching MacDonalds

but I have gone through the drive through for funky french fries.

I’ve never ridden in a fast Ferrari

but I have ridden my speedy smiling scooter.

I’ve never seen the northern lights

but I have stared at the moon rising.

I’ve never caught a fox but I have captured a glimpse of a fox.

I’ve never tasted an energy drink but I have had a Coco cola.

I want to paint cold

I want to paint

the taste of icy ice-cream and ice-lollies that are in the freezing freezer,

the smell of a daisy dancing in the wandering wind

the sound of ice crazily cracking beneath my feet and

the memory of slowly swimming in cold water in my mum’s pool.

Speechless

I opened my eyes, I stood silently my knuckles whitened as I gripped the wheel as my life relied on it.

Darkness was approaching, I could feel it crawling under my skin. A gust of wind hit my face my sin was pale I must’ve been clueless of what happened a that single moment because when I looked around me I was lost…
