No one dared to enter the obscure, ancient, crooked house ,but Scarlett was determined to venture through this abandoned building. The wind howled and mist clawed at the roof of the eerie house. “You can do it Scarlett, ”she gulped, “You’ll be the star of Billericay if you conquer this fear.”A gust of wind urged her towards the door, suddenly the door swung open; she stepped inside. A monkey  appeared from behind the door, welcoming her in with a friendly gesture. The squirrel monkey waved at her, before clambering up the stairs. Most days, Scarlett would be collecting chicken eggs and the doing the washing up not exploring a spine chilling house.
