The Airport By Aarav TJS
Spongebob Squidward Patrick, was ready to set off on his vacation. Planes whooshing past the terminal, with over 1000 pounds of storage. Crowds surrounding the seats and chattering, which was definitely not spacious; lounges were filled with silence, not even a word being said. Shops were not that busy, people just wanted to relax before their 7 hour journey and fill them up with food. Spongebob Squidward Patrick wasn’t disturbed by this, he just wanted to enjoy his last minutes enjoying the wonder of New York but not too much since he will miss his flight. “Can passengers for flight 3897 please arrive at gate 13,” the PA announced. That was Spongebob Squidward Patrick’s flight, his body was full of delight until he saw the flight information screen, “FLIGHT CANCELLED”.
Hi Aarav, there is some great writing in here. I particularly like the surprise right at the end. However, I am distracted by the name of your character. Choosing a silly name can work really well in a fantasy setting, but repeating a long name like your character’s can annoy the reader. Maybe a simple name such as Patrick would have been better?
