Salt water dragons

Have you ever heard of a salt water dragon? If not, let us tell you all you need to know about them… There are many water dragons, the most common is a salt water dragon. As its name suggests, it can only live in salty water.

Cleverly, it has spikes on its back that slice through the water and a sharp tail to kill its prey. It will only eat lobsters, crabs or mussels. Surprisingly, it is rather large because it eats 500 mussels, lobsters or crabs each day to fill itself up. It has muddy green scales for camouflage and can hold its breath for 1 hour at most.

Sailors say it rocks the boat side to side then cuts the boat in half and watches you drown. Have you ever thought about trying to see a salt water dragon? Well, some advice for you here. Don’t. Contrary to popular belief, it is very unfriendly to humans, and can control the waves if stirred into a rage, so provoking it will not end well for you.

There are only female salt dragons as the sailors they drown become new baby salt dragons because they have poison bitten into their blood
