You can be everything

You can be the trees of the darkest forest swaying in the breeze,

You can be the moon and the sun shining brightly as one,

You can be the stars in the sky twinkling at night,

You can be the difference between night and day,

You can be the joy to all children,

You can be the softest fur of the grizzliest bear,

You can be the hardest bark on a tree,

You can be the most complex piece of data counting the days to be solved,

You can be the Core of the Earth squished in the tiniest of spaces,

You can be the lava spilling from a active volcano,

You can be the yellowest flower blooming from a flower bed next door,

You can be the prettiest butterfly prancing and dancing,

You an be the greatest acrobatic in history making a leap of faith,

You can be the whitest sheet of paper among all the grubby sheets,

You can be the dry sand of all the beaches anticipating being stepped on,

You can be the sharpest scissors in the pack,

You can be the brightest pen in the shop dreading to be sold,

You can be the tastiest cake in the world waiting to be eaten,

You can be the sweetest lolly in the house,

You can be the dampest leaf on the greenest tree looming over passing cars,

You can be the darkness of the world looming over children at night.

  1. I really enjoyed reading this. I fancy being the sweetest lolly in the house, although the whitest sheet of paper is always lovely because that will be next page of writing waiting to happen Lucy. I hope that you enjoyed Pie’s session as much as we did at Stone!

  2. Posting your writing on a blog can feel like a leap of faith, but I am so glad you shared this. Inspiring and beautiful. Well done Lucy!
