The Dragon in the Cave

The dragon’s head jerked upwards.

It’s eyes shone out of the darkness like emeralds.

The dragon’s skin was smooth and the scales were cold and hard like a rock.

It’s spine had spikes on it like a line of daggers that went on until they reached the tail which curled forward.

The ghost white teeth sat in its mouth which suddenly spurted fire!

The dragon’s wings started to beat up and down and then it flew into the air.

I watched it until it was out of sight.
