You are poem

You are a terrible singer, whose voice sounds like a cat being dragged down a blackboard.

You are a sirloin steak waiting to be digested.

You are an egg waiting to be cracked.

You are a colouring waiting to be coloured.

You are an eager tap waiting to flow.

You are an open umbrella waiting for rain.

You are a dog digging for its lost bone.

You are an owl hooting in the night sky.

You are a fast runner zooming down the track like a cheetah.

You are a beach waiting for the waves to crash against the shore.

You are in Brixham waiting for the trawler to come into dock after the storm.

You are a bird searching for its nest.

You are the impossibility of love.

You are a vibrant kingfisher taking off for flight.
