The sky lit up with deep purple destruction, surrounding the SS Waterski like a cage, compressing the air around the ship tighter and tighter in its grasp.   

Violet, the SS Water ski’s second in command, screamed like cracking glass, as she swayed from left to right across the captain’s quarters.  The room lit up like an electric purple eel sparking in tune at a dance party.  Violet shouted up to captain Crystal, her best friend since pre-school, “Crystal HELP, were losing power. What should we do”? 

Calmly, Crystal released her strong grip on the dangerous perch atop of the SS Waterski, bravely climbing down the swaying creaking ladder towards safety. Inside the protective ship, Crystal ran straight towards to wheelhouse and fought against the terrifying wind to right the ship high up into the burnt, marshmallow clouds, to escape the lightening cage.   

Finally, high above the clouds, Crystal and Violet imagined all the danger had disappeared for that day. But suddenly, arising out of the clouds, the menacing Water Bugs used their gauzy wings to blow the ship into the ocean’s darkness. 

Crystal shouted, “we are going to need to prepare for an emergency landing if we are going to survive this attack”! Captain Crystal steered the SS Waterski into a sudden turn around as she spotted a nearby island which looked like it could temporarily protect the ship from the attacking malevolent Water Bugs. 

Through the window, Violet was cursing the Water Bugs for their annoying deeds, attacking Violet and Crystals’ beloved ship. Out of the blue, a Water Bug tore a massive rip into one of the ships wings, causing the ship to lose control and plummet into the waves – like a tornado towards the shore.
