The Crash!
Pop goes the balloon! They were diving down within the unclear fog. Nothing to see but white clouds. “Hold tightly to the backpack!” Wilbur yelled as if he was on a rollercoaster. The engineer set on fire since they were past the speed limit of the skyship. The distorted laugh of the sky-goblin grew more faded. Was this the end of them? Was this the end of them or will they be a ghost? Tommy didn’t want to die yet. He didn’t want to lose his brother Wilbur. He didn’t want to lose his best friend Toby. No not yet. Tommy closes his eyes shut.
Feeling the ice claw against his back. Scratch! Screech! Holding tightly to the bag, Tommy opened his eyes and frantically looked everywhere misty but up above the blistering sun and shining. Tommy noticed. He was being dragged by Wilbur. “We didn’t die?” Tommy asked as if he was solving maths. “Oh, you’re awake Tommy and no. We didn’t.” Wilbur responded. Then, Wilbur let go of Tommy and allowed him to get up. Both looked at each other then looked at what had appeared in front. In the distance, a silhouette, a quite odd one. It was the sky-ship sinking into one of the cracks of the frozen lake. Small icicles started bulleting down. They knew they needed shelter as this is a Snow forest biome. “Tommy go on your map and try to scan where we are, I’ll go build shelter and use the compass to guide myself back to you and shelter.” Wilbur commanded Tommy. The biome was misty, small cracks were in the frosted lake. Icicles were bulleting down like knives as Tommy got cut by one already. The sun was a blistering fireball but it was being protected by bodyguard clouds. “This is going to be a while to get back, isn’t it?” Tommy sighed to himself. Bah! The sound of an animal was heard. Bah! Where was it?
