Episode 3: The New Recruit

This time, Jake hears the noise as well. It sounds like the rustling of dry leaves. After hearing the noise one more time, Carl dashes towards the ruined kitchen of the skyship (The Red Devil) for shelter. To the captain’s surprise, an extremely large beetle scuttles on board and from it’s back, it emits a cloud of green smoke at him which he knows is the beetle trying to make friends with him. “Looks like we have new recruit!” Jake shouts. At these words, Carl’s head peeps around from what is left of the kitchen door frame, looking more worried than ever.
