The sky ship takes off

A horde of dragons circled the sky ship, swooping down on to the deck, where Fieago stood.  With jelly-like legs, Fieago screamed, “Help, we’re being attacked by dragons,” which attracted the attention of the sky pirates.  Fieago flapped about on the deck like a helpless baby bird that had fallen out of its nest and did not know how to fly.

In contrast, Grutara stood firm at the sky ship’s wheel, clinging to it as the sky ship tilted and turned in the wind.  He turned the ship’s microphone towards him, grasped it in his hand, and shouted sternly, but calmly, “Hold your stations.  We will overcome this attack.  Return to your duties of manning the ship.”

The sky pirates turned towards the dragons and started firing arrows of fire from their diamond encrusted bows.  One after one, every dragon fell to the ground, as the burning arrows pierced their lungs.  They made a death sound like a balloon, slowly deflating.

“Open the rudder, engage the wheels and reel in the cloak of invisibility,” shouted Grutara.  “The cloak of invisibility is tangled in the wheels.  Remove it now or I won’t be able to land the sky ship.”

Fieago and Zinc used a wooden rod to catch the trailing end of the cloak and lift it, just before the sky ship shaved the earth.  The sky ship ploughed a furrow through the earth, tearing up trees and boulders in its way.  The ship moved at speed across the earth until it came to rest, hanging over the edge of a cliff.
