The punctuation dragon

There are many breeds of dragons and one of the most ferocious of them all the punctuation dragon. Not much is known about this type but it is known they are incredible hunters with their breath of punctuation like commas to Pierce their victims and full stops to knock them out. This dragon cannot fly in stead it rides an explanation mark like a surfboard to get around quickly and they are very talented. 

 

Their favourite food is brackets and colons that they eat off people’s books. Punctuation dragons’ least favourite thing is when people forget to put capital letters and full stops in their work when this happens they hunt down the person and eat them. This dragon lives in books and snuggles between pages of a well punctuated English book this dragon is very small as it is only 8cm long and 4cm tall which allows it to hide easily in tight gaps at the back of cabinets in classrooms or behind the teachers computer and Baby Punctuation dragons are only about the size of a pea. If you would like to tame a punctuation you need to push gently a very well punctuated English book toward one and then you need to wait for it to feel safe with you and then your friend but if it growls at you before you tame it it probably means it’s already been tamed and you should leave it alone. These dragons can be dangerous so beware.

  1. I like your work because it was funny to read and the dragon sounded interesting. Does the dragon eat words aswell as brackets and colons? You could improve by putting more what it likes doing when there aren’t any books around.
