The Water Dragon

The Water Dragon

There are many different types of dragons in this world but some of the most extraordinary dragons of all, are the Water Dragons. Very little is known about this dragon due to its incredible camouflaging abilities and hiding the deepest parts of the ocean.

If you were to try and find a Water Dragon you would know when you see one. They have beautiful light blue scales with a sea-green main which flows down its back. However, a few of these dragons have been spotted with dark blue scales yet this has only been seen in the deepest parts of the ocean. Like most dragons, they have long and majestic wings which allow them to fly yet they are very fascinating since they leave a trail of water following them only in flight. Amazingly, they have the ability to breath out a great cloud of mist instead of fire.

Once a Water Dragon decides on where its home will be, it will never leave that ocean or lake for the rest of their lives. If you wish to see one of these creatures in real life you must wait by a deep ocean or lake when the stars are out and if maybe bring some seaweed as it is their favourite meal. You must keep very still though, as these dragons get spooked easily and will swim away if scared and leave you in a cloud of mist. These dragons will rarely ever be seen in groups or packs as they prefer to live alone. These dragons do not mind where they live as long as the ocean or lake is deep enough.

Contrary to popular belief, these dragons can be very dangerous! If these dragons are made angry they’re regular mist can turn to poisonous mist, not to mention their razor-sharp claws. Unfortunately, many people have gone missing after finding a Water Dragon. To avoid these dangers keep flames away from these dragons and never run towards one. If you keep to these simple rules you should be able to approach one and maybe even be able to ride and tame it.
