Star sailor by Claudia

Episode 1

Joe sat bolt right up, eyes as clear as day. He never thought how much he’d miss his his life before the Star Sailer,  but at least he had his sister. Daisy slowly blinked at her cat Eric as her pale skin blushed. Happily she turned around and saw Joe stood as still as stone with a vacant expression hanging upon his face. Suddenly, a cold drop of rain fell from the sky and on to Daisy’s neck, she knew this meant trouble. Daisy’s normal happy face faded away she screamed at Joe, “JOE JOE the storm dragons are arriving!”

Joe knew she was right , but it was to late. The storm dragons swooped down from every angle. Joe and Daisy ran to the controls room. “We need to make an emergency landing.” He hissed. Daisy steered the sky ship down towards the ground. The children landed in a private unicorns paddock.

Episode 2

The children twitched, they both knew that this paddock was private land. They needed to escape, and quick! Joe scrambled to the crew room, Daisy gripped his shoulder trying to hold him back, but it was no use. His knuckles tapped on the oak door,

“Tap tap tap”

Answering the door was captain Freckle, who had not noticed that the ship had gone down. The children explained everything and Captain Freckle was as mad as a wasp! The whole crew left the ship in search for some scrap materials. Suddenly, Daisy heard a scratching noise coming from the ships wooden hull, she went to check it out…

Episode 3

Daisy crept up getting closer and closer, then suddenly she gasped, “ it’s the famous luminous dragon!”  Before  Joe could have his say, which would be to leave it alone, Daisy had already wrapped it up in a ships blanket and started to pat it on the head. Joe frequently wondered why his sister was like this but got distracted by the dragons black as midnight eyes that glistens in the fluorescent sunlight that was inbeaded int he cloud scattered sky.

Episode 4

Eight hours later, the crew returned, Captain Freckle carefully repaired the balloon. The sky ship lifted up into the saffron sky, which was a bit intimidating to the twins, but soon made a feeling o f the comfort. Joe meticulously examined the dragonling, which was silently sleeping in a basket of washing that Daisy was meant to do  ages ago. Joe and Daisy’s attention turned to the faint stars and glowing moon that shone from miles ahead.
