The Curious Emporium
In the curious emporium
In the room of horror,
I tried to hold my mouth.
In the room of candy,
I stuffed my mouth with marshmallows
In the room of mannequins,
I screamed every time I turned my head.
In the room of dance,
I wore point shoes like a beautiful ballerina.
In the room of Ice,
I skated around without thinking about how cold I was.
In the room of memories,
My head turned and turned looking back to my family.
In the room of slumber,
I instantly fell on the ground
In the room of questions,
I asked myself if it was a good idea to come here.
In the room of forgetting,
I wondered where I was.
In the room of disabilities,
I struggled to find my way back to the door.
