I want to paint…
I want to paint a tall, thick tree reaching high to the clouds,
A sweet, smooth strawberry hanging off a leaf, ready to drop as soon as it’s ripe,
The beautiful, blazing birds chirping in the leafy trees.
I want to paint the stars as gold as a penny,
A clock ticking as quiet as a mouse,
The huge trucks on the road like an elephant stampeding through the grassy plain.
I want to paint the taste an apple as juicy as fresh juice hanging off a tree,
I want to paint the sound of a chicken clucking along as it walks through the field.
I want to paint the difference between a frog croaking and a bird chirping.
I want to paint the end of this poem.
