I want to paint
I want to paint…
I want to paint the image of fireflies buzzing over a moon-lit lake, as blue and white rays create a misty haze over a sophisticated swan. I want to paint a willow tree with dangling fairy lights co-ordinating with the cool tones of the moon. I want to paint royal blue lapis enchanting as it renders a hurricane full of purples and blues. I want to paint an emerald green canoe gliding across an aqua spring lake as the edges bubble and leave a ripple of a trail.
I want to paint the smell of an oven when sweet, sugary steam pours out of it. I want to paint succulent honeycomb with rich golden honey oozing over the edges overlapping the berries on the plate, I want to paint shining windows reflecting the passing buyers of the bakery.
I want to paint light, fluffy cupcakes perched on an elegant cake stand, proudly watching as kids continue stuffing sprinkles in their faces. I want to paint the silhouette of a girl lay on a dock as the moon casts its blue-toned haze.
I want to paint the end of this poem.
