I Have Never Fell Off the Eiffel Tower…

I have never seen a stingray flying in the clear, blue sky,

But I have seen a dolphin jumping in a massive pool in the zoo.

I have never eaten brussels sprouts,

But I have eaten a tree-like broccoli.

I have never stroked a lion’s mane,

But I have stroked my friend’s kitten.

I have never travelled to Japan,

But I have lived in Spain for 7 years.

I have never been to the jungle and seen a fox wearing a mask,

But I have seen Dora the explorer.

I have never seen a sushi singing in the shower,

But I have eaten tuna.

I have never seen you read this poem,

But I have today.
