What are….?

What are hot? A fire crackling whilst we toast marshmallows and a summer’s day at the beach splashing in the clear blue sea.

What are cold? An iceberg braking of a glacier now floating into the ocean, a froze lake,  glistening in the moonlight and a sea of shadows creeping over you.

What are empty a person, lonely with no hope and a mind with no thoughts.

What are full? My stomach my stomach after a roast dinner and a school hall when its lunch.

What are fragile? A baby bird’s feather, the skeleton of a leaf dancing in the wind and thin glass.

What are tough? Love, metal when you mould it into a shape and a rope when you play tug of war with your friends.

What are shiny? The sun reflecting on the water and the bathroom light shining  on the mirror.

What are dull? The heart of a devil and a room with no light.
