The underground emporium part 2

“I see you’ve found the book of future,” said the old man who had appeared from nowhere. Will jumped, not knowing if he would get a row or not. The old man could tell that Will was frightened so he quickly changed the conversation.

“Hi, my name is Chris.” he explained in a jolly voice while he was putting    his hand out for a handshake.

“And my name is Will.” he replied with a bit more comfort. Will still didn’t know what to do so he started to walk off to the leather book that was in the middle of the emporium. As he put his hand out to open the first page, Chris ran over to him and bellowed

“STOP!! DO NOT TOUCH THAT BOOK!” Will quickly retorted his arm back as fast as possible. Will didn’t question him because he was scared that he would get shouted at again. He started walking around until he saw a big hall with a bright green carpet which led to a dark brown door. Will was walking as slow as a slug. Eventually, he reached the door and turned the handle. As the door creaked open, a different land appeared. A land which had a gigantic golden castle with all sorts of creatures -such as flying unicorns, giant deadly looking falcons and little fairies with beautiful wings- creeping around the land.
