There are places where everyone goes and there are places where nobody goes. The secret emporium was not hidden and it was not open to the world but people could see it at Halloween,Christmas and Easter as it was lit up with beautiful lights and lamps. People were afraid to go in it as there was a unicorn horn hanging down from the ceiling. Everyone had been curious to go in but they were all scared of the wolf’s tusk sticking out of the wall. Even at Christmas when everything was decorated and there were Santa toys in the window no one wanted to enter. Everyone thought, what is the point of opening an emporium if no one is going to enter? They must shut it down soon or they will lose all their money because no one entered it in the last year.

The doorway was too heavy to open and it was all dark when it wasn’t a special time of year. It looked like the owner didn’t want you to enter and he got that reward. Until Luke. 

Chapter 1 – Opening the Shop

Luke had always wanted to go to the emporium but his mum had never let him. Luke walked down Unicorn hair street and knocked at the emporium door. No one answered so Luke knocked again and no one answered again. So Luke pushed the door ever so slightly and it creaked open. Luke never thought that the shop would be as beautiful as it was because he thought if no one has ever been in it and the owner would keep the lights off the shop would look like a mess but it wasn’t. It was the best shop he has ever seen.

¨I see you´ve found my dragon horn,¨ hissed the man, as he was staring into Luke’s eyes,¨Don’t touch it!¨the man said in a loud whisper. The man left the room and Luke was all alone again.
