The Mysterious Emporium by Aamina

“Sorry but you can’t touch that.” Mr Scott said he glared at Maddison.
Maddison stared back at him and after a while she spoke “My name is Maddison”.
“Well Maddison, you are forbidden to touch my book of Wonders. Ok.”
“Alright sir,” she replied.

Mr Scott left the room with a swish of his cape. Maddison glanced at the book. She knew she shouldn’t but it was too tempting. It was like it wanted her to look and write in it. And before she knew it it was open.A few minutes later Mr Scott had vanished. Maddison was alone. She realised that the book of Wonders was right next to her. She thought to herself If Mr Scott couldn’t see it wouldn’t hurt. Would it?”

Before Maddison knew it, she had opened the book. Hundreds of doors waiting to be opened. Wonders beyond any imagination. All of a sudden she had a feather pen in her hands dipped in ink drawing. The sky, sea, towns and cities all beyond her imagination .But there was one thing she longed the most. Before Maddison knew it, she had opened the book. Hundreds of doors waiting to be opened. “This way”, said the parrot. Maddison closed the book and before she knew it, she was following the parrot. When they stoped there was a freshly panted door waiting to be opened. She knew what she had to do she opened the door in a flash.

She stepped not into a room but into the legendary Alps. Everywhere she looked there was green evergreen trees sitting there silently. A twisted path leading to a cottage the cottage she drew in the book of wonders!!! Without any concern she ran to it.
